radical generosity is great concept 80 > 50 but why not 100/100 . because when i think of overshoot i am expecting a reward.

Actually, the book explains this. Giving all of oneself (as in 100%) can cause one to lose himself or herself. (your identity, preferences, or purpose). “The 80/80 model is meant to push the edge of your generosity, it stops at 80 percent as a reminder that you can be both radically generous and individually fulfilled.” (p.34 & 35)
