For us who actually love standup, we will NEVER see the actual favorites of ours in this category. I looked up who was nominated, and it's all already very established/ rich "comedians". It looks like they just threw Glaser in because she was hosting. 😅 TBF I think Amy Wong deserved it more than the others.

You've heard total as much material from Nate as a late night host does, maybe, in a few weeks? *Maybe* a month? As a stand-up, he gets to work jokes/stories until they are absolutely perfect. Late night hosts don't get that luxury--it's four hours a week, every week. Also, do you think it's his writing or his delivery that are more crucial to his humor? If it's the writing, he should pass on Late Night unless he can get a bunch of writers who are at least as funny as he is. If it's the delivery, though, then you might be right and he'd be a good host.

How could Nate not be nominated? The only 3 comics I look at are Nate, Henry Cho, and Leanne Morgan. Clean, Christian and all from TN. I watch Jerry Seinfeld if he does anything. They don’t need a string of swear words to be funny. I wouldn’t watch any of those nominees from last night.
