Boone is a cold dude. He acted like he was down with Rick, but when his friend wanted to kill Rick his only response was he was down with whoever got the money. Foolishly that little money he got for the hit was nothing compared to what he could have made with Rick if he stayed loyal.

People seem to miss the part where he was literally about to do bodily harm to Rick in their first meeting. This man is not his friend. He was an employee. And Rick wasn't paying more than the next man. There's no loyalty in the crack era. And that's still true today because of that era.

I see alot of people with mad respect for Maserati on here getting heated if you say anything about him. And that's all good but... It seems he made the wrong move from the beginning of this story. He tried to buy the loyalty and support of these guys. You can't buy enough loyalty to have someone be as close to you and cruicial to your safety as these guys were. Mafia bosses buy hit men from time to time but the people closest to them guarding their lives are mostly people that they've known most their life. Often family. And to be honest, even these people turn on them some times.

If Maserati Rick had lived, he probably would have gone to prison. By the late 80s early 90s a lot of the big-time dope dealers in Detroit were either sent to prison or killed. Rick's widow did 20 years in Michigan state prison and the governor of Michigan commuted her sentence and released her.

Can we put an end to this non-sense? Nate Boone did not kill Rick. Best friends aka none of the Brown brothers killed Rick either. The following reading is a partial excerpt of the trial of the person who really smoked/murdered Mas Rick. It was Loderick Parker who murdered Rick:....WITNESS TESTIFIES IN HOSPITAL KILLING WEARING DISGUISE, SHE IDENTIFIES SUSPECT IN DEATH OF DRUG FIGURE Detroit Free Press (MI) - Saturday, December 17, 1988 Author: JOE SWICKARD Free Press Staff Writer The key prosecution witness, wearing a disguise for protection, would not be shaken Friday from her identification of Lodrick Parker as the man who ran with a gun from the hospital room of Richard Carter after the reputed Detroit drug figure was shot to death in his sickbed. Sandra Harbour, wearing heavy black-frame glasses and a knit cap that was pulled low over her brow, pointed to Parker in court as the man she saw outside Carter's room at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital before the shooting. She said he almost knocked her down as he ran past moments later, after the sound of a gunshot from the room. Harbour, a Detroit police reservist who was a hospital patient at the time, said she was concealing her appearance in court "because I'm afraid for my life and my children." She wept under a withering questioning about her recollection of the incident from Parker's lawyer, Raymond Burkett, but did not waver in her identification of Parker. Carter, 29, reputedly a major east side drug dealer, was recovering from an earlier shooting when he was killed. Assistant prosecutor Richard Cunningham has described the slaying as "one gangster killing another gangster." Testimony ended Friday in the first-degree murder trial of Parker, also 29, before Detroit Recorder's Court Judge Isidore Torres. Final arguments are scheduled for Monday. The defense presented no witnesses. Harbour said she first noticed Parker and another man while she waited in a lounge area at the hospital. She said the men refused to help her get out of a chair. Burkett hammered at inconsistencies in her testimony and statements she gave police after the shooting. He also closely questioned Harbour about her mental state at the time of the shooting and when she spoke with police, suggesting that pain medication clouded her perception and that the shock of the shooting left her confused. Wiping tears from her eyes, Harbour insisted she was not mistaken about Parker "because he almost ran me down when he had a gun in his hand." **** Edition: METRO FINAL CHASER Section: NWS Page: 3A; Index Terms: SHOOTING ; DEATH ; COURT ; LODRICK PARKER Record Number: 8802250164 Copyright (c) 1988 Detroit Free Press

The first testimonies into the trial of the person who really smoked Mas Rick, but beat the case. And got life in prison on another charge. READ BELOW.... WITNESS TESTIFIES IN HOSPITAL KILLING WEARING DISGUISE, SHE IDENTIFIES SUSPECT IN DEATH OF DRUG FIGURE Detroit Free Press (MI) - Saturday, December 17, 1988 Author: JOE SWICKARD Free Press Staff Writer The key prosecution witness, wearing a disguise for protection, would not be shaken Friday from her identification of Lodrick Parker as the man who ran with a gun from the hospital room of Richard Carter after the reputed Detroit drug figure was shot to death in his sickbed.

Rick committed suicide. He broke rule#1 you give people enough so that they don't starve, but not so much that they don't need you. The government has been doing it all throughout history. Boone was loyal to what he'd always been loyal to which was the money. He never had friends or enemies it was only about who was going to pay his tab for services rendered
