Might be the Panasonic camera. The autofocus is really slow.

@@MachWonder Nah it goes from focuses to unfocus. Just change the focus area or go manual. Whenever I lock in on focus I'll hold the focus lock button so the spray of the wave doesn't confuse my camera. And I've got a Sony A7siii. But with surf usually focus area "zone" locks me in so I never have issues.

I really enjoy the vid but you gotta go manual focus. The auto focus keeps messing up. GH 4,5,6 auto focus is not very good. GH7 is supposed to be much better, But I don't know. I still use my GH5 but manual focus.

North Shore is NOT PERFECT, it’s wonky and challenging and windy. The NS can throw out a perfect wave every now and then and that rarity is what the challenge and luck is. When you get one perfect it feels more special, but over all the average surfer gets exposed and can’t handle Hawaii, it’s way more powerful and challenging that anyone things and camera doesn’t show the speed and imperfectness It is Mecca though, every surfer should have to come there every year to remind themselves how much of a kook you are.
