These are all the colors I have curated in my home for the past 20 years. I love this. I saw a candle on the island shot and said I have bergamot candle that I bought from Goodwill. I lit it. Yep, enjoy the details.

Oh my... I don't get emotional over these things... But I did this time. Nate and Jeremiah really had empathy for this man and his family. That was the best ... The space converted became the promise of better things .... You 2 are an amazing team. Thank you!

As someone who knows 70s, 80s, and 90s tv I can tell you right now that Alex P. Keaton's stairs in his parent's home did NOT dump into the kitchen. Diff'rent Strokes had a spiral staircase that led into the kitchen. The Cosby Show had stairs in the kitchen, but you couldn't see the stairs. Full House had stairs in the kitchen. Usually when stairs lead into a kitchen it's a second staircase otherwise all of your company would have to enter through the kitchen to get to the upstairs bedrooms.

It's so heart warming to see the happy homeowners :) Whatever your design taste, the new kitchen space is and amazing social space, I just hope no one hits their head on the bricks. Love the laundry room, but my preference would be to have a separate mud room, to keep traffic and company away from my nickers and mess!

I watched the full episode. One of the big sticking points for the family and even Nate and Jeremiah made a big deal about is how awful it is seeing the laundry while eating breakfast.. so what did these 2 superstar genius’ do? They moved the laundry room placing the new banquet where the laundry room was and moving the laundry to the other side, Where … they have a direct view of the laundry room from their new banquet… 😳 how did they manage that? 😂🤣😂

The layout is odd? The new design is beautiful! Those guys are design geniuses! 😊 I will say that I did not think that the original kitchen was that small. They must entertain a lot so they need it opened up. I have a galley kitchen in a traditional ranch style/Mid-Century home from 1965. It is(original build)open concept from the kitchen through the living room through to to formal dining room. So open concept has been in original designs in the past. Just ours is more of a hybrid. As we still have some separation. Which I like.. Still my galley kitchen is much smaller and we manage fine. I guess if I had a $100,000 budget for remodeling I would go for it too... Good for them. 😊

Love it. I would only question the runner on the stairs. How would you keep that clean when it's such a light color? Do you have to take shoes off in the house?
@comealongcomealong44802 жыл бұрын
@yael Smiley Simckes I believe they kept the original runner design we saw on the first walk through. The clients may have liked it as is, or perhaps this item was outside their reno budget. I guess it's something they can replace relatively easily in the future.

curious that all cost 100k or does most of it get comped by the show?
@comealongcomealong44802 жыл бұрын
@elizabeth The narration said they spent their max budget, with all the work needed to remove the load bearing wall. So $110k. The construction company (Aiello) got a mention - so they may have discounted some of their costs as a contra. I sincerely hope business has flowed to Aiello after this project, because they did great work. Often Nate and Jeremiah mention "calling in favours" on these programs. And I assume HGTV pay someone for the content provided by this couple.

gorgeous, but there is absolutely no way that they only spent $110,000- I just spent $350,000 and it's a very small place.
it’s universal and pleasing on the eyes and they know how to work with these colors so well and honestly their taste is amazing
@Jessica-kk1cz2 жыл бұрын
@@joleonthestreet It’s repetitive, and formulaic at this point. Anyone can do this following the formula. It takes no talent or effort. The talent comes from combining colors, values, tones, materials. They eliminate the need for talent and effort by eliminating the colors, values, tones altogether. A room without color is like a room without music - it is a silent room. Sometimes silence has its place, but you can’t call it music. And can’t call lack of design a design.

Beautiful home but the wife’s outfit is 🤮 oh gosh! that purple blouse need to go. It does not flatter her all. Gives me little house on the prairie vibe. She better upgrade her wardrobe before hubby starts the wandering eye 😂 but her pastel dress is gorgeous on her! Girl get rid of that purple blouse. Nate and Jeremiah are the bomb!

Glad you have favor in life. But after death, there are no gated communities. So feeling uncomfortable with seeing black people next door, will make you not have to be in Heaven for eternity. You will go to the other place. Wide is the gate to perdition. Gain the whole world and lose your soul.
