Maybe you should’ve been like yo man you actually want to clap like this** instead of condescending to them. I know this was years ago but damn i hate when people act like there is no teaching or learning to be done when it comes to loving and appreciating music. The snobbery of shit lord fan base is a big reason most of the people I know get turned off by periphery. It really feels like having any sort of musical knowledge beyond the barest of basics is some fucking top secret information passed down to only the chosen ones and not something for us all to share with each other. It very nearly made me say fuck music, fuck playing guitar. Imagine it music never became part of your life because of the way a band of holier than thou pricks shit talked you when they should’ve been trying to help you understand.
