@@ahmadelshbasy3222 First, it's a lot of discipline. To me, I wanted to challenge my self mentally and see if I could do it. That's how I looked at it and helped me. If there's one thing I can tell you up front that might help a lot, just eat anything at any time whenever you're hungry - as long as it's fruit - just eat. I'm always on the road and grocery stores are all around so I have no problem with that. As for diet, in the morning, a couple of bananas with another piece of fruit, usually an orange or some pieces of melon. Afternoon, I pack pre-cooked rice with green peas, carrots, brussel sprouts (sliced) and steamed in the rice cooker while the rice is cooking. I snack on fruit throughout the day. I'll sometimes go to the local grocery store and buy fresh cooked potato wedges - medium size and/or buy some blueberries and eat a small handful, bring the rest home. (my car is full of blueberries packaging and banana peels on the regular 😁) In the evening, back to rice with vegetables. I've actually gained (good) weight, since I train religiously at the gym - which is in my building. For milk, I drink fortified rice or oat milk, or soy milk - and before anyone says anything bad about soy milk and estrogen. The estrogen levels aren't anywhere close to the milk that comes from a pregnant cow, literally a female who has nothing but estrogen. The milk thing never made sense to me, but I drank it before because we were told it's good for you, but we're not cows. So that was very easy for me and I never liked cheese - which I learned lights up the same area of the brain that cocaine does - so it's like a drug. I did some homework about the diet before getting into it. Dr. Milton Mills - on KZbin - amazing stuff on dairy and protein. Dr. Robert Morse - that got me more into the fruits than vegetables. But in all honestly, I eat when I'm hungry and it's usually fruit. Like I said, it takes some serious discipline, but I noticed my energy was better and if I was to put it into numbers, then I'd say my energy when I ate meat was a 6.5/10. But when I went to mainly fruits and vegetables, easy 8/8.5. Give it a shot, I'm positive you'll notice a difference. My weakness that I'm working on right now is refined sugar which is evil and to me it's really a legalized drug - it's in everything.. even ketchup. But I got a serious sweet tooth and I think it's an addiction. And it's not expensive to eat that way either, considering that meat is the only thing that came off my plate. So anyone who says it's expensive is probably buying all the fancy new "vegan" pimped foods out there. Just eat what you ate before, without the meat, that's it. Also, don't worry about "protein", that's where the video "Dr. Milton Mills protein" (on youtube) taught me, protein is in EVERY single plant out there. We don't need as much as we've been told, because it's marketing, just like we were told we needed milk - but it's literally breast milk from another animal. So yeah, don't fall for that protein marketing, it's a catch phrase in every product so you buy it, because you're told you need so much of it. Want to save money, don't buy protein powders and vegan packaged foods, it's just marketing. I went from 195 to 212-215 in about 4 months, I'm 6'3. Sorry this was long, but I feel so good about it and my results that I like to share if anyone asks and hopefully someone can learn from a genuine experience and save money too. Fuck the marketers. But credit goes to Nate that got me started down that path and I'm never looking back. Quick thing I wanted to add, three words, natural peanut butter. Perfect snack for when you want something quick. It has healthy fat and protein and all I do is get a spoon, open the fridge, eat 2 - 4 spoons and I'm good to go
