Today, without properly knowing how to do it, I did my first set of sentry jumps on Doublecross, using a mini sentry. The first one was to get into the enemy's roof, the second one was to escape that part right next to the intel. We were cornered and our scout died, so I picked the intel, did a sentry jump, escaped and won the match (we were 2-2). It felt pretty awesome.

I think I might have seen you in the jumpacademy map in the beginning of the video, a little while ago. Since I was horrible at rocket jumping it was literally hilarious when I saw you pretty much powering through the server as an engie XD

If anything needs to be introduced to make sentry jumping viable then it would have to be a cylindrical hitbox for normal and mini sentries, and maybe no self inflicted damage on wrangler.

Not teaching the kids how to rocket haul without the Rescue Ranger? For Shame! Don't worry, young ones! It's as easy as standing next to the Sentry, and holding M2 while you immediately move the mousewheel up or down one notch! (This causes the rockets to fire, and you immediately switch to shotgun or wrench to pick it up. Many say you have to press M2 twice, but you actually can just hold it down.)

At the start when you were building the sentry, there was a 3rd place medal on it. What is that from? A server with plugins?

If you prefer practicing on non-Jump maps, on tr_walkway, for example, I suggest setting sv_cheats to 1 and use the command (bind mouse 1 "+attack; impulse 101"), without brackets, to regenerate ammo and health every time you press the left mouse button. Alternatively, you can use the command combo (addcond 75; addcond 74; removecond 75), without brackets, to get 1250 hp and infinite metal. I'm pretty sure there's no real way to get infinite sentry ammo without repairing it, though u_u
