Awesome. I think the footage trailing the bike gives a more accurate representation of how fast you guys are going than the POV angle.
@Wizler713 жыл бұрын
I agree. It also shows how steep and rough some features are better than POV.

@@natehills9388 The drone cam also shows the speed better, especially when it pulls back and shows the riders on a ridgeline descent. The Kong vids come to mind. Still like POV for the most personal experience. I remember the lines and features when you ride the trails I've ridden

Where exactly is the camera mounted? It seems like it's mid back, but there's such little motion. I love this view!

Cool to see this footage of Bugs. You should see the area right now. We've had a really good monsoon and every bit of that scenery is lush green and every little stream is flowing. I was just up there this morning hiking around with the dog. So awesome to see the mountain not on fire this year.

Now THAT looked like a lot of fun. It took me a bit to adjust though as the sound was like a reverse delay - you heard the sound of the bike and then the rider jumped, skidded, etc but of course the sound is from your actions. Awesome! 👍

That was cool, the rear view actually shows the elevation drop which the front view seems to miss; any chance for a split screen video showing POV and rear view? Possibly too much work but sounds cool.

Very cool perspective! I guess you have a camera on a gimbal on a backpack harness...How did you find the correct tilt to your camera?
@stevencole73313 жыл бұрын
I am surprised that many videographers dont use this technique filming back . The ones that I have seen may have the back tire in the screen shot but with your back film you have a really good look at the guys behind you charging the trail and how they truly ride it . It gives a better perspective of what the trail looks like where on the front it looks like your in a tunnel with the gopro effect . You dont get this from behind . I dont see your leg or your handlebars . Just a clean look . You do have to keep the back lead rider fairly close to get a good look at their technique . This is how movie makers filmed from behind . Car chases are done this way on occasion .
