Burro pass 11,200 ft. Heading out to brekenridge in August! Looks killer! I’m from the low lands east coast Connecticut so I will be doing the lift assist trails first. Ending up in crested butte by the end of the week, hopefully be a little bit acclimated by then. Great vid!

Dude, those are difficult trails and you guys made them look so easy. Well done.

That looks familiar. A few years back we used to (annually) ride a trail through Breckinridge that my friends called Peak 7/Wheeler Pass that looked something like this. We would park in Frisco. Ride Peaks trail to Breckinridge. Climb Peak 7. Drop over into the Copper mountain side. Climb again up over the (10 mile) ridge. And drop back down into Frisco. Anyhow, some of this single track looks like sections that we rode. I remember how much more fatiguing it was to climb once you hit tree line. And you still had a lot of climbing at that point. I also remember that there were always intermittent rain showers and lightning strikes up there by late afternoon. Very exposed country. So you guys picked a great, clear day to ride there.

I've ridden that the opposite way, Peaks Up Miner's Creek, then down the Wheeler all the way to Copper Mountain. That's a whip to ride up. Looks more fun this way. But the descent to Copper put huge perma-grin on my face!

This is the preferred way but the descent to Copper is legendary as well.

I started an all day ride a few years ago in Keystone Ranch to CO Trail up Gold Hill side. Hike a bike (too much) up between peaks 3-4 to Wheeler. Wheeler down to Burro then bike path to Swan Rd back to trail head. It was about 10 hours and I like your version better :)

I did it with ways this week. You can park in Frisco and ride to Copper and then up the CT to Miners, to Frisco, or you can leave a car in Frisco and shuttle up Peak 9 as far as possible.

You can climb up Burro trail to wheelers as well, pretty nice mellow climb till you reach wheelers.
