Bigfoot Expert: I think Bigfoot may have been created by the aliens to keep track of our movements. Nate: I can believe that. Aaron: Starbucks makes their store smell like coffee. Nate: That's insane. That can't be true. What is wrong with you?

A few updates for those who didn't get to enjoy the mall episode yet: Aaron is now afraid of overly invasive parking garages and manipulative Cinnabons. Bishop seems pretty bitter that he lost control of the laptop. And Nate can not wait to be done with all of it and live as a 70 year old man. I hope the malls are still there for you in your golden years, Nate. You've earned it.

I have a Jasper Mall story. I was in 11th grade, 2009, and took a girl to prom who was from that area. There was a change in plans with our group of about 8 couples to go out to eat before prom, we chose a steakhouse inside the Jasper Mall (Garfields?). I immediately began sweating realizing I only had about $21. I was the only guy from a different school so I couldn’t just announce my poor luck and laugh it off. I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu (club sandwich and a water) while my date got a steak dinner. I remember being so nervous to get the check. I was $1 and some change short. I was hoping to just put it in the black bifold check holder and bounce but others needed their change back. Waiter guy came back and completely bailed me out. He said “someone shorted me a little bit it’s all good, you guys have a great night!” What could have been. Love the pod!

It is sad to see the decline of malls, but it's also interesting to see some of them transition into apartment complexes or megachurches or other things. I also like looking at photos of abandoned malls, too, despite the ominous feel to them.

On the subject of people herding towards lines... when I was in the Navy and our ship was underway, we’d just stand at a random spot in the hallway. When people asked what the line was for we’d say something like ice cream, or some special dessert. Then after we got a few people to line up we’d make up an excuse like we had to go to watch, or had another appointment. Great fun to break up the monotony of being out to sea for weeks at a time. People LOVE a line!!!

Years ago I managed a Ruby Tuesday located in a mall with a separate entrance directly to outdoors. One day the oven was opened and a billow of smoke set off the fire alarm. I immediately ran out of the kitchen through the dining room towards the outdoor entrance because for some reason that’s where the fire alarm override panel was located and to prevent the fire department from being dispatched I had 30 seconds to get the code entered. You can imagine the look on customers faces as the manager appears to be running out while I’m out of breath trying to yell everything is fine. Love the podcast look forward to Wednesday’s every week keep up the great work!!

When Nate asked A-Aron his waist size, I noticed he didn't answer. I always thought a funny answer to that was, "I'm actually a 40, but a 42 feels so good, I wear a 44." Feel free to use that, A-Aron. Love listening to Nate, A-Aron and Bookend while I work because I don't have to think about what I am hearing and can keep my mind on my job. Keep it up!

I’m catching up on these - but loved how bitter Nate still is about being cut by his dad. I was a 5’ 2” freshman that rode the pine on “C” squad basketball. So of all the bad freshman I was the worst. The coach would often put all the subs in at once until we screwed up and then put the starters back in. I figured practice all week and then traveling to play for 90 seconds wasn’t really worth it in the end. So that was the one and only season I tried a team sport.

Hey folks, if you’re a fan of malls i would have to recommend the King of Prussia Plaza 20 minutes outside of Philly. It is technically the biggest mall in America, Mall of America has a hotel and amusement park which don’t count as retail space. Love the show i’ve added a few words here for Nate to give the old college try, Aluminum, Superfluous, Spanakopita

Bozworth asked if that was Abercrombie or Fitch. Fun fact, Abercrombie & Fitch started in the 1890’s and for the first 100 years or so, it was like an upscale Bass Pro Shops, selling everything from clothes to guns, fishing poles and boats. Can you imagine being so into the outdoors that you start your own sporting goods store and attach your name to it and then 100 years later, it’s famous for having shirtless teenagers standing outside, blaring club music and the smell of cologne so entrancing(?) that Starbucks was forced to start an aroma task force? That’s like Nate passing down the podcast and his family turning it into a platform for celebrities to talk about voting.

Also, as a former bank employee who had to help people balance their accounts who were overdrawn and confused - PLEASE BALANCE YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT!!! I don't understand how this has gone 'out of style'?? You're just going to trust that the bank never makes an error and that no fraud is going to occur? You should always keep your own records and compare to the bank to make sure you match. :-) I don't write checks often anymore, but definitely balance my account considering the electronic debits coming out, etc.

Hello Folks, I want to first say that my wife and I really enjoy the podcast. My wife and I live in South Africa but were raised on the west coast of the States. Anyways I’ll get right to it, I believe it is possible that there could be some creature or has been some creature like Bigfoot especially considering ancient languages had different names for this animal. Moving on to the Dogman stuff though, I’m wondering if some of those sightings are actually hairless bears. Hairless bears are creepy looking and it is rare to see one just as it is rare to see any of these creatures under the umbrella of cryptozoology. Bears are known to stand on two legs, but I’m not sure how fast they can run on two legs. Just throwing this out there. Thank you for the laughs that we need in times like these ....Yada yada yada

Anyway, love the podcast! It really is a fun distraction these times. Nate!- can´t wait for the new special! Btw a couple of episodes back, some australian guy tried to lure you to his country with dozens of fans,- i´m sure we can manage to wrangle up single digits😊. After covid that is. Seriously - ask bill burr how he found the audiences in vienna- I think he would recommend us. Bring Aaron and Brass Knuckles -we´d love to have you😊. Maybe y’alls next episode should be on nose whistling, gollllyyyy. I noticed the slight nasal hiss at about 30 minutes into the show. At first I thought it was me and nearly got into a car accident looking at my nostrils in the mirror while driving to work. From 35 to 40 minutes in, it got to a beyond distracting level. It was like you had a whistle on as a guest. My gut told me it was it must be beaker’s face holes making this awful sound, this theory was confirmed when I heard Nate, Aaron and the whistle simultaneously. Unbelievable. Dudes, not only is Aaron 1,000% correct about smells being intentionally designed and dispersed (I.e. Scent Branding), but companies actually have defendable patents on their smells! My friend is an attorney who has made his entire career out of defending or litigating scent branding patent infringement. Goes to show, there are lots of ways to make a buck. My art teacher and I are big fans of the Podcast and we always talk about the episodes after we watch them. We specifically reference all the moments Nate was dumb during the episode and get a big laugh out of it. Don't worry Nate, lots of us are verbally challenged. For example, until a couple years ago I pronounced Nathanial as Nathan-L. Literally Nathan and then the letter L. I don't know what I was thinking. My dad finally had to break it to me. I got your lost car story beat!! One year in Reno, working at a brewery with a parking garage above it, on new years eve one of my co-workers got off of work early and used another co-workers car to run home and change out of his workwear. After watching the fireworks and closing up shop, we spent an hour looking for this car. He swore up and down that it was parked in one place, while everyone thought he was so dunk that he could not remember where it was. A week goes by and the poor girl, had to make an insurance claim for a stolen vehicle. One year later!! To the day, we are all walking to the top of the parking garage to once again watch the fireworks, and someone made a comment about a car covered in dust, and all you hear after the comment is, "Oh my God, that's my car!!" No joke, she ended up being investigated for insurance fraud. Wild. Thanks for the great shows Folks! Keep up the fantastic work.

“If you’re looking for a knockoff purse, those are the ones that are the most legit.” FALSE. There are no legit knockoffs. However if I could find that jacket on some street vendor blanket, I’m in.

Yall explaining to Aaron how you carried checkbooks around is exactly like me explaining to my 5 & 9 yr olds what a rotary phone is. 🤣 Aaron's mind was blown.

"Hello hosts" Chris radclif...brilliant! He really does get it. I didnt catch it till the second watch. Seemed like Beanbag maybe got it. Nates inability to say words is too much. And bank fraud!?! With the checks that should have been in the crime episode. Love the pod cast......you guys have come along way. I mean....your not "there yet" but your getting it. Keep up the work. Finally catching up on the show a year late, but it’s still great fun. Every time Nate mentions a TN town, I wait for Baron to chime in with the county. He didn’t disappoint (“Chattanooga is in Marion county “😁, said with great pride) 38:20. Hope by the time I catch up to you in the podcast Matrix that you’re still putting out this great content.

It's way funnier when Bridget attempts to use the laptop! It's a joke in itself, thought most folks would git it. What are Aaron's sources?

Now I'd love to see them just review some cool documentaries. I'd love their take on Class Action Park and McMillions

Just to confirm Aaron’s sensory conspiracy. DIsney is another company that pumps out scent for their guests on Main Street. The bakery doesn’t actually bake cookies yet here we are smelling delicious baked goods made outside of the parks You guys are awesome always make Wednesday’s fun

I'm 38 minutes into this episode and so far Bridge's nose whistle has taken over most of the discussions I apologize in advance if it's not his nose but I think it's a safe bet
