So the least corrupt countries who held their citizens hostage for the shortest amount of time had the lowest Boogey Virus rates. Of course.... because people don’t get sick from germs, they get sick from being scared and upset about something that happened in their lives. Enter the worldwide FEAR CAMPAIGN brought to you by governments who have lied for decades. Governments who allow synthetic foods on the market like fake butter, Twinkies, telling you to eat 10 servings of toxic grains a day in order to keep your heart healthy, meanwhile it's causing everyone to become diabetic....THIS is who you take health info from??! Governments that lied about the medical benefit of marijuana are now to be TRUSTED? The Germ Theory was never actually proven to be 100% accurate, yet the trillion dollar medical industry is entirely based on that theory. What's the CAUSE of death in people with this "virus"? Does their brain explode? Does their heart stop beating? The CAUSE of death is still pneumonia. Pneumonia is not something you can "catch". It's a biological result of being "scared to death" of something which is exactly what the media has done to people dumb enough to watch them. You've heard the term "Worried sick". That's because your BRAIN causes you to become sick due to the stress it is perceiving! Why do you think young kids aren't getting the Boogey Virus? Because they aren't sitting in front of the news being scared to death because they're too young to understand a Fear Campaign. These pathetic "experts" just make shit up to explain their narrative as they go. First they tell you kids bring home every illness from school because they're not "exposed" to enough things, then they say somehow they're immune to a Boogey Virus? Does anyone have common sense?! You don't show the symptoms of "disease" until you stop being panicked and afraid. These symptoms usually show up 1-2 weeks after you've relaxed and resolved the upsetting event. There's no such thing that some diseases you can "catch", but not all. It's not that complex! If you can't "catch" cancer, diabetes, MS, arthritis, etc., from other people, then you can't "catch" colds, flu and Boogey Viruses. So governments around the world are CAUSING fear frights in everyone based on an unproven THEORY by one man, Louis Pasteur, who redacted his claim of the germ theory on his death bed, yet no one listened. So of course, when everyone is allowed to escape the hostage situation the governments have put their people into, and they start relaxing about the Boogey Virus, that's not in any way transmissible, they will begin their healing phase (get sick), and believe they then have it, and more panic will ensue as well as martial law. The longer people allow this government to hold them hostage in their homes, the more severe the "sickness" will be. Can anyone put 2 and 2 together to figure out what I'm saying?? Western Medicine is pure fraud, and people's lives are destroyed because of it. There's no critical thinking anymore. The group thinkers are moronic and brain dead. People think they're educated because they've memorized the lies they've been told for 100 years.

Just have to say how blessed I was this morning when I realized it was Wednesday. Just went thru Hurricane Ida and still without electricity and phone service just starting to come up. It is easier to count the houses that don’t have damage than the ones that do. I drove around trying to find enough signal to listen and imagine my shock to find Sonic open. So I’m listening to get my dose of happiness to bring back to my family. My husband had a stroke in April and cannot move his left side. All this after going thru our savings last year with the shut down. Your stand up and this podcast has really gotten me thru some hard times this year. Thank you Nate, Beaucoup, Aaron and all the Folks! Laissez le bon temps rouler!

I love the Seinfeld and Office references. Two of my favorite shows as well. You guys were trying to recall Nate's joke about the deer. It's the one where you say that hunting would be a lot harder if animals could talk. If the hunter missed and the deer stood up and was like "Hey! What's your problem" and his wife comes out and the deer says "Go back inside". Love it! Can't wait to see you in Boise this Feb!

Im a pilot for a commercial airline and recently have been told no more saying ladies and gentlemen because some may be offended, for example I used to say, “good morning ladies and gentlemen from the flight deck, welcome aboard flight blah blah blah and so on. I now say “ HELLO FOLKS”, from the flight deck welcome aboard flight ………. And so on….I’m hoping one day one of y’all may be in the back and realize did he just say “hello folks” and come up to the cockpit and say hi. Also I grew up near South Bend Indiana and love Notre Dame, go Irish! Love the podcast. Welp see ya later.

After starting to skateboard 25 years ago, I can attest that Dickies were the cool pants to wear in the private school I went to. Interesting to hear they’re still popular, as they helped when you fell. Other than that, they felt like cardboard between your legs after sweating even a little bit, skateboarding after school. I thought the popularity was solely due to the uniform and the fact you weren’t allowed to wear jeans. Many thanks to Nathanael, Camouflage Aaron, and Big Daddy B for the podcast. Helps the day fly by as an aging but still skateboarding accountant, so I can get to the weekends and pass on skateboarding to my son.

The difference is actually that we don't commonly use the half dollar coin while we do commonly use the $50 bill. A $25 bill is less efficient given our use of the $50. If we actually used a .50 coin a .20 coin would be more efficient than a quarter.

On the topic of notes (Cliff’s or otherwise) my older brother and I had a little business when we were in college together. We would find out which classes allowed note cards during exams, check which chapters would be covered in the exams, and then handwrite entire chapters on 5x8 note cards. I could fit 3 to 4 lines of text within one line on the card. We’d then scan and print copies of the notecards and sell them to other students. I never went hungry at that school. Thanks for the awesome podcast, dudes!

I'm a fuel truck driver, the pumps usually tell you not to leave it running unattended. That mechanism fails and it pumps gas all over the ground that's not the stations fault...you're supposed to be standing there watching it. Also...don't get in your car while pumping...apart from static electricity it's also when people most often drive off with the handle still in their tank. There are breakaway connections on the hose so it doesn't rupture the hose but it can mess up your car.

I think you've misread this dynamic entirely. Nate is without a doubt, Charlie Brown. Holly is Snoopy! And Aaron is obviously SCHROEDER. For cryin out loud, he's a musical genius and married to someone named Lucy! And Brian is clearly...Pig Pen. Good day.
@paulm.e.mueller2903
@paulm.e.mueller2903 3 жыл бұрын
@@thecreativechristianpod excellent use of "Good day!" Normally I would agree that our musical genius would be Schroeder. He's married to a Lucy and not REJECTING Lucy like Schroeder. Aaron's ability to "hang" with anyone makes him an invaluable side kick like Linus (and he wore the shirt). Snoopy is the star of peanuts and has an incredible imagination. Nate constantly playing out the human qualities in animals makes him the obvious choice. Holly isn't a big enough character in Nateland to be Snoopy. Brian's faithful, earnest, but at times frustrating journey through life and comedy is best symbolized in Charlie Brown. He's also a clean-cut Leave it to Beaver type dude so he couldn't be Pig Pen. Have a great day!

@@paulm.e.mueller2903 While I respect you as a human, you're theory is a turd. @@thecreativechristianpod Thank you for your respect. I would like you to know that I reciprocate your admiration. I'm sure you're a swell gal, but your grasp of character role and development is equal to Nate's reading ability. Charlie Brown is the protagonist, but Snoopy is the star. Charlie Brown is sometimes a whomp Whomp WHOMP L-O-S-E-R of a blockhead. Snoopy on the other hand is dripping with charisma and is clearly the star of the comic. Who plays shortstop? Who shoots down the Red Baron? Who is the best dancer? Snoopy is the star and it's not even close. Also, in many circumstances, Chuck's default setting seems to be worried. We do stand united in hoping the boys take up this topic (although I am sure they will agree with my logic).

When you started talking about cliff notes it reminded me of a true story about one of my friends. When we were in high school it was required for us to read and turn in a book report on the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. My friend procrastinated on the reading part and used Cliff Notes to fabricate his entire book report. A few days after the report was due our teacher pulled my friend aside and called him out for not reading the book. He didn’t understand how she could’ve possibly found out that he didn’t read it…turns out he was the only student to turn in a report on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Without knowing it, he bought the wrong cliff notes…correct author, completely wrong story. The teacher was a good sport and also found it comical. She gave him an extra week to turn in a report on the proper book…so he went and bought the correct Cliff Notes and received an A. Unfortunately this particular friend won’t be able to join us but I and 3 of our friends just got our tickets for your upcoming show in San Diego. Can’t wait!! Let’s go folks!

When talking about Cliff’s Notes it reminded me of college 2000-2004 when a copy shop across the street from campus started selling their version of Cliff’s Notes from the more common classes and it blew up from there. They would pay people attending class to type of notes for each class so other students didn’t even have to attend. The college ended up with a huge issue of registered students not attending while those in attendance didn’t even register and were only there to take notes to sell to this shop. The college ended up starting to take attendance in classes to kick out those not registered and to mark down grades of those who were registered and not coming, most likely just buying these notes.

You guys briefly touched on the "coin shortage" thats been going on recently, and i am part of the problem.. Shortly before the pandemic my bank removed their coin machine so i stopped turning them in. I just can't go along with being charged 13% for using a coinstar machine. Since then i have accumulated 4 half gallon mason jars of coins, and am working on a fifth.. From experience i know they are generally between $150 and $200 each... I guess when I get to 2 grand perhaps I will buy a machine to put them in rolls and cash them in, but i was really hoping the "shortage" would force my bank to bring back the machine! This podcast has made me realize how little I know about most things. I found myself getting frustrated (in a fun way) during the Olympics episode because you all kept getting stuff wrong. Then I realized that I have not had that feeling throughout most of the other episodes. It really is just fun to be along for the ride while y'all talk about things that you, and apparently I, know nothing about 🤣

Between Nate’s jacket and Aaron’s shirt, I feel like I’m staring at an autostereogram (for Nate, autostereograms are those pictures where you cross your eyes to see another image in the picture). PS - I love Aaron, but that shirt and hat combo is a TERRIBLE combination! Black and gray cap…Pink and purple shirt?! Nate voice: Goood night. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hello Folks! I cannot believe my favorites merged. In a weird twist, Nate and Greg are in it together. Crazy! Greg will do goofy stuff on Twitter and the prize is “being an amigo”. So my picture got to be in the credits of “The Guest Book”. It makes so much sense for the merger. Lol. Greg Garcia grew up in my area. I won another contest and he donated $1k to my charity. (Ironically, I could really use that money.) But, yes, he worked at Burger King for a month during the writer’s strike. He thought he could turn it in to something but ended up giving out money to his coworkers. He’s such a good guy. He’s so “average” as far as a person being able to relate to normal people. But he’s so amazing with his writing and directing. I’ve said it before in comments….. Greg is the perfect writer/creator/director for Nate. Can’t wait to see you in Baltimore October 2nd. I know there will be a tv show staring Nate with Greg at the helm. It’s inevitable. Love all of you guys. BRIAN, Aaron and of course Nate. Please please don’t change. Us “folks” absolutely love you all.

Near the end during that bank vault story I think Nate completely checked out. I haven’t heard someone say “uh” that many times since my psychology class oral presentation on mental illness in which I knew nothing on the subject. Nate clearly had his mind on the next thing to do. Love the podcast and congrats to Aaron and barnacle on the tv spot. Look forward to watching probably only those episodes on that show.

I can totally relate to Aaron’s gas station incident...it happens. I was pumping gas a few months ago, my mind wandered, and before I knew it, I was in my car, driving away and “thud” (there wasn't a good samaritan at my gas station saying “Ma'am Ma'am”) I quickly realized what I had done, I got out of my car, saw the nozzle and hose hanging out of the side of mu car. My first instinct was to look around and see who had witnessed this, then I went into the gas station to let them know what had happened. I approached the counter, and said to an older man “hi i need to talk to someone about the gas pumps” and he was like “yeah you pay when you pump your gas” and I said “oh yeah I got through that part just fine, but then i forgot to take the nozzle out and drove off with the nozzle still in my car and it ripped off from the pump”. He let out the biggest sigh, rolled his eyes, grabbed an “out of order” sign and said to the lady working with him “I gotta go take care of this” and stormed off. I have never been there again. Love the podcast, the best part of my week! Nate, see you in Maine on the 16th!

We need to stop this before it goes too far folks. Bubbles! Please don't let Nate get treated for dyslexia. Do we all remember when Usain Bolt (America's greatest Jamaican sprinter) came on the scene? He was faster than everybody, but he ran differently. We all shouted, "just think if he ran normally, how fast could he go?" Then all the experts explained to us, his unorthodox way of running was one of the reasons he COULD run so fast. What if dyslexia contributes to how Nate uniquely interprets the world around him and that is a part of why he is so friggin funny?! Don't fix what ain't broken! So, he has some difficult reading, its hilarious. We all seem to enjoy it. Please, leave well enough alone.

Aaron said “that’s fair” to Nate’s change vs dollar bills argument like it actually made any sense at all. In change we have 1s, 5s, 10s, 25s, and the rare 50s and dollars. In bills we most often use 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s, and 100s. Why would they not be the same - a $25 bill instead of a $20? Keep up the good content Nate, Aaron, and Bacon; love the podcast.

The rare. 50 piece is what makes the difference in cents vs dollars. If half dollars were common a .20 coin would be more efficient than a quarter.

I don't was listening to this with my 3-year-old son. He wanted me to explain what was funny every time I laughed. Then he would laugh too like he got the joke (he did not). He was full of other questions too: "Why did he say Romeo? Why do they say 'Hello folks?' Why do they say 'Let's go folks?'" When I told them that you guys thought the last two were fun to say, he responded, "I don't like it. Turn off the sound." I guess I have a little General Joe on my hands. I'll go proofread this now.

I was at the last Buffalo Bills Preseason game last week and we were walking to the stadium and we got to an intersection where cops were directing traffic. We waited a few minutes and then the cop directing, waved us forward to go and said, "Lets go folks." It took me off guard for a second. Was this officer a Folk? I then realized that phrase actually DOES have an overlap between Nateland and real life. Big bummer for all the Lets Go Folks purists out there.

Love this show and have listened to every single Podcast. I wish it was longer because I listened to it to and from work and it usually only lasts me 2 days. I'd love to do a Podcast like this because I know a little about everything and a lot about nothing. A funny story About how even smart people have their moments. A friend of mine at work and one of the smartest people I know Just realized that the Washington football team was not in the state of Washington 2 or 3 years ago 3 years ago, she's in her mid thirties and is sports fan and has a master's degree And the best memory of anybody I know. Just funny how she didn't realize that Washington DC had its own professional teams after all these years. She's even been to DC several times.
