Six years later, I've come back to this amazing album. Listening to this song again, I think I've caught something. Although, since I'm not seeing it in the comments, I think I may be hearing things. But thing strings (I think guitar) near the start of the song and in between the Gerudo Valley parts, to me resembles Kaepora Gaebora theme. Maybe no exactly the same, but when I think about the owl's theme while listening to the strings, feels very similar.
