This is such a wonderful video and a perfect song. The hug in the end of season 7 is everything. I was screaming especially when Lucas came out. I think Nathan just has a way of looking at Elizabeth and can connect with her instantly. I do believe that Elizabeth is already Nathan's whole world. The fact that they both have kids is the bonus. I do appreciate the slow pace of the love story because it took me a while to get over Jack. Nathan or should I say Kevin flirts with his eyes without saying a word. It's truly a gift. I enjoy watching them together.

Well things are looking great for Elizabeth & Nathan now after S11! 😊 ❤ Crazy emotional journey Elizabeth picking Lucas as a safe relationship after Lucas kept relentlessly pursuing her. I think she wouldn't have dated anyone after she told Nathan, "I can't." in S8, ep 2. At least until she could give her heart to Nathan. However, Lucas is pushy, but charming & Elizabeth thought she could have a safe, comfortable, & uncomplicated relationship with Lucas. Well thank goodness she realized she couldn't leave HV & move to CC with Lucas & that while she tried to bury her feelings for Nathan. However, she realized she was still deeply in love with Nathan & broke up with Lucas. I loved the gentle, "Love Comes Softly" storyline & romance we got for Nathan & Elizabeth. Her apology to Nathan for hurting him 💔 & confessing fear got in the way, her beautiful speech, & declaration to Nathan saying "Nathan, I'm in love with you." was beyond perfect! ❤ #ElizabethAndNathan. #GrantUsAGrantFamily @HallmarkChannel @WhenCallsTheHeart

I'm loving Lucas as a governor. It fits his pushy yet trying to be a charmer personality so well. That is what alot of politicians are like. Plus I want Lucas in the grey area. Is he about good, bad, or something in between. Afterall politicians can be corrupted if someone makes it their worthwhile & while Lucas said he wants to be a good man now to Jeanette being pulled back into his past ways is something I see Lucas struggling with the rest of his life! Chris plays the mysterious past & questionable character well so I was glad Lindsay brought back Lucas' past.

Everyone has their opinions on who Elizabeth should choose. I can't help but wonder who the noble Jack Thornton would chose. Lucas is a professional gambler who angered Elizabeth by teaching a 10 year old a card trick. He is a saloon owner with shady past ties (who he admitted to cheating) and almost got Elizabeth killed! He then goes on to violate her trust and anger her by sending off her writings without her permission. He disregards her boundaries by manipulating a date in the library. He lives a night life and is not a family man. This doesn't sound like the kind of stepfather Jack would want for his son. However I like the character he plays, he adds so much to the show. I hope to see them do better for lucas giving him someone who will embellish the dynamic character he is not reduce him to a diaper duty dad going home to a teacher grading papers. I hope he is paired with someone who matches his lifestyle and gives to him not just takes.
