Joseph Smith and Hyrum did not wear garments while in Carthage jail as it was too HOT. They died without them. Even Joseph wasn't that strict. Our leaders got so strict up their own ASS they got carried away. Now the whole point of Garments is to Control FEAR and SHAME. Great show guys!!

@@Cultural_Hall i went through the same pattern with my garments.. I had PTSD extreme anxiety at night so I wore them every night then after I got stronger I stuffed them all in a garbage bag in the closet and brought them around to every place I moved. then one day I Got the guts to throw them all away and it was therapeutic experience! I will never be controlled By CLOTH! Even Jesus Christ would Agree!!! (its called missing the mark) we shouldn't be judged by the underwear we wear but by the things we do and who we are!!

Along with not wearing garments, they had wine smuggled in so they could drink it to calm their nerves.

Great interview, appreciate the solidarity and support among the niche of exMo creators. Sending gratitude to all y'all exMo KZbinrs from this NeverMo in Utah. During the pandemic I started investigating what my Mormon neighbors believed. Wow the facts and history are so fascinating - way better than what I hear is the sanitized faithful version. But geez all the information is readily available, I only had to read a couple of books to realize the con and the fiction. But yeah, information control is powerful. Honestly I was pretty bitter here in Utah given the control the CoJCoLDS has over politics and all of our lives, not just their members. They just can't leave us alone. The exMos have softened my heart to my goodly TBM neighbors and coworkers. I have so much more empathy now that I realize how controlled they are. Now I see how hard it is to leave, especially for people it works for - looking at you, white men of a certain economic status. But as more people do, it becomes normalized. Being public as ex-s sends the bat signal it's OK on the other side of belief. The leadership, on the other hand, deserves the criticism and condemnation for their actions. I don't care what people believe, it is what they do that matters. Keep up the good work, and keeping it light and humorous among all the difficult stuff.

I was told I was wrong when I did the cups demonstrating the apostasy. A lot of these youngsters now say the founding catholics were Mormon. Then ward radio made the same claim. The belief is getting nuts.

@@Cultural_Hall I had an argument about it. It was surreal , apparently I was wrong on my mission with the LDS teachings lol. And the cups were nonsense that I made up lol. There are a lot claiming the apostolic fathers were Mormon which is news to me. I think professor and expert in bs Jonah had a video about them being Mormons not too long ago. I don’t recognise the church I left. Not for the better.
