Cool Video. Happy their not my tractors! Theirs nothing wrong with the colour of the trators, the diff lock and pulling going ahead at the start may have helped. Looks like the mulsher may be better suited with a tractor with rear duals to start with!!! Lots of expensive toys being battered around to mulsh a couple sticks

Who ever was driving the pull tractor better have been thankful that what ever they where using didn't break and come through the back windshield with the way he was jerking that tractor.
@nicohuizing16 жыл бұрын
I like his style.. he wanted to get out by himself but got even stuck more!! get some duals and use diff.
@16matthewb1616 жыл бұрын
yes, they are directional they are run the way they do for a smooth ride and to be self cleaning tractor tires dig faster in reverse and don't wearout as fast either
@jdschoel17 жыл бұрын
Ok, all you smart guys. 1 They are using a tow rope, not a chain, hence a good jerk is fine, if it breaks no real harm done. And Mr. physics major, just pulling steadily is not as effective. 2 To all those complaining about not using differntial lock, they do, check it out at 5:23, all the wheels are spinning together. The real problem, they are hung up on a root or rock. 3 They eventually get out, and whithout breaking anything or getting hurt, so take all your computer chair advice and ...

The guy in the little tractor should never backed up all the time...whatever they accomplised went out the window doing that! And they should have had diff locks on to. And anyone can see thats not a chain...I never seen a chain strech like that before...its a tow rope of course you can jerk it like that..its whats its for!! elasticsity!!!

IMO, chains can hold up to more abuse than cables. If you fray a few strands in a cable, it's severely weakened. It's alot harder to break a chain link.

Haven't you heard of the diff lock? If you guys had used that from the beginning, that piece of junk would've been out of that hole at the first attempt. Furthermore, it is a lot easier to pull it to the side, because the tires will get "fresh" ground underneath. Edit: Why didn't you get that big ass machine right from the beginning?;)

if these guys would have payed any attention in their physics classes they would know that jerkking is less effective then pulling slowly due to inertia. at least they were smart enough to use a strap and not a chain or cable!! haha and btw i'm not necessarily a john deere guy, but these machines still operating after these guys got done with them says something about quality, i think.

They are basic drivers, not "operators" and obviously have no idea about the mechanical side of these machines, or the fact that instead of fighting against the ground, work with it.
