I'm reading all these comments of people that are in love or have a crush on someone and all I have is bad love story and memories attached to this song. I read about this ex couple that wrote a comment in the same music video about how they felt towards each other and how the song made them feel and I came here hoping to find something like that. I broke up with him, it's not that I regret what I did, it's just that things could've been different and we could have had all we promised to each other. I don't know, maybe I'm getting way ahead of myself and this was just some dumb teenager love, but I know that at the time nothing felt more real than us. I'm looking for closure and I think I found it when I listened to this. I know it's not good what I did, I know that my mind is flooding with memories of us but I'm happy that I don't cry over him anymore. I look forward to the future and maybe we'll cross paths again, if we don't I hope that I find peace in these memories and that I find my one and only. To the person who had the patience to read all this I hope that their life is filled with joy as much as mine and his will be, and whatever decision you made that led you to the place you are just be reminded that life has in store great surprises for you even if it doesn't seem so and love is something so big and there's always someone out there to love you and cherish you and your flaws. It might all seem awful and bad but with time you'll realize that maybe it was better that way. I'm actually very happy and proud of myself, I don't regret a thing and I would do it all over again even if it meant ending it the same way all over again. I can dedicate this song to my first love and my sorta crush, different parts for each. This song is probably the most accurate to my life that I've heard. My crush just wants me to trust him, which is why I'm so drawn to him, but I can't say anything because firstly, I'm scared he'll break my heart and secondly, he's too innocent for my brokenness. @@eloinechops690 Thx, and I'd like to believe so. I can see how this all would be pretty confusing. Currently in my life I have feelings for two guys. I absolutely hate it and I always have. In movies, books, shows, irl. I HATE when ppl can't decide. But now I understand. This song rly hit me hard. A few years ago (about 3 and a half? Closer to 4 yrs) I met this one guy from my church. Alec. I immediately liked him and being the hopeless romantic I am, I fell in love over the course of a year. I eventually told him, 2 ish yrs ago. Not that I loved him, but I that I liked him. He told me he liked me back. He was my whole world. Due to past trauma, from yrs and yrs ago, I have horrible social skills. So I wasn't the best with communicating. This didn't sit well with Alec and he got a gf tho he claimed he would wait for me. He absolutely broke me. I let down my walls for him and he decided to take advantage of it. He said he still liked me while he was dating this girl. I lost a lot of respect for him and I waited till he ended things to talk to him. He did end up breaking up with the girl and when we went to snow camp, a church event, I poured out my heart. I told him that he hurt me, I apologised if I hurt him. I tried to talk to him but he didnt rly care. A couple weeks after that, he got another gf. One that made me insecure since the day I met her. Anyways, thru all this, I still loved him. (Also, he recently broke up with this gf which fucked me up a lot). I truly and fully loved him. I would dedicate that part to him. The first glance, the love.. I credit all to Alec. I still love him, I don't think it's possible for him to leave my heart permanently, but i no longer have a crush on him. Does that make sense? But the first first lines... I would dedicate to my crush. His name is Xavier. It wasn't the same as with Alec. I thought I was gonna hate Xavier bc he just seemed like one of those stuck up popular douche bags. But i was lab partners with him for a while. During that time, he tried to break my walls. He asked for my trust, he wanted to know my problems. That's why I started to like him. We changed partners after a few months, but we would still walk home together occasionally bc he ended up living a couple houses down from mine. He acts so different out side of school tho. Like, he is more serious and he talked to me about random things. A couple days ago, actually, he found out that I like him. That is a whole other extremally long story. He found out on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I have science with him 3rd period, and long story short, I ended up being he lab partner again That was suspicious. .. but I'm still grateful for the chance. Anyways, I would dedicate this song to him bc he asked for my trust and baggage. I'm sry, I'm half asleep while typing. Does that make any more sense?
