Ok, you NEED to hear more of his work. EVERYONE knows Fireflies, but most people don't know the artist. Hot Air Balloon, Alligator Sky, Deer in the Headlights, and Plant Life are just a few examples of personal favorites of mine, and are classics of his. But he more recently released his work for the theme song for Neural Cloud, and it is incredible, and only something he could create!

When i was 3 years old this song came out, even though i was pretty young.. my brother gave me his headphones and he got the music on.. instantly i got in love of Adam (Owl City) music.. now that this Year after a long wait, a new album came out. And its magestic to listen to him again after a good while. I'm actually happy and proud of my brother that tought me about good music.. The last month he just turned 30 and im 17 now, we both keep listening to this master piece almost every time we get together again Fun fact: When i was young, theres was a wall where you can go sit on the top of it in the evenings and sunsets.. when we use to go there, we put Fireflies or Vanilla Twilight which well.. it gave us some good vibes while having a good view on the top of the wall.. even though since we are already adults, you could say that we really have a good and beautiful bond because of Owl City and his music

Fireflies was the first Owl City song I ever heard & given how nice it sounds it's no wonder this was likely many others' first Owl City song as well. I still remember it being popular in the early 2000s. I heard this from someone else but some possible context to the song is that Adam had insomnia & would just stay up making songs to deal with it or walk to this one area & rest under a tree with a bunch of owl nests in it.(Hence Owl City maybe)
