As an American, I love the meaning behind this song. I’m surrounded by people who fly the confederate flag with pride, but not actually knowing the history of it. Hollow front is great, I would highly recommend a song called loose threads by then

Love the show idea!!! I always wish interviewers would ask more about how songs are developed, like "musically, where did this song start? Who had the idea? Which riff started it all? Lyrically, how was it developed?" Those types and even more detailed instrumental questions always make me appreciate the artistry even more rather than some generic metal interviewer wearing band t-shirts and leather wristbands just telling the band that they are awesome and not getting to anything substantive.

Have you guys thought about going live regularly, either on KZbin or Twitch? Nik Nocturnal does some good guest spots on Twitch with bands, and it's great to have that sort of interaction from the chat. You could edit the streams down to post as longer videos, but lives could get you some more $$$!!

We absolutely have and we absolutely plan to, it’s just more about time for us. We’ve both got extremely busy lives. The other issue is the time difference of being all the way over here in Australia. The best time for us would probably be when most of the world is asleep.

Not trying to get political, but lyrically I can't get down with this. I understand that the past is ugly, but knowing where you came from, the progress that's been made, and why we are where we are today, is very important. I have pride in my country and respect the flag, even if I disagree with a lot of what it's been a part of. Granted, I don't know exactly where they're coming from with the intent of the lyrics, just going off of what I interpreted them as. (Not trying to start any sort of argument or debate here, just sharing my thoughts)

Metal is always political. It's mostly left wing but Is still enjoy the music. I am from the South (NC) and I like the Confederate flag and dont agree with people wanting to ban it. If I'm not mistaken the American flag has had its share of bad too but its apart of our history and shouldn't be changed. I haven't looked up the lyrics to this song but I'll check it out sometime.

Just looked up the lyrics and honestly I respect their opinion but I don't appreciate it. The lyrics are basically saying that anybody who wants to have a confederate flag are hateful people who use heritage as an excuse to wave and support the flag. So I won't be giving this another listen to. To each their own though. I've always liked the design of the flag and its part of our history. Ive never flown it or used it as a symbol of hatred to a certain group of people. People these days love to put their own label of someone else that they don't even know. Its pretty ridiculous.
