Hands down, this is probably one of the best surfing action features I have ever seen. Both the quality and quantity of waves, and great riding. I really liked the camera angle, allowing me to watch 2 riders on two different waves simultaneously. It is always great to see the southern hemisphere winter, during the northern hemisphere summer!

JJF go surf great waves in exotic surf locations, enjoy life and make some videos for the fans to enjoy.

Or even run a comp like the tripple crown ran during plandemic, and do the comp with videos, 10 best waves over the competition window and then run a 4 man final over 2 or 3 hours for the final big playoff? And stick to Hawaii, Tahiti, G Land and a couple of other big consistent spots?

Yep, the WSL are the best at picking the smallest days any given spot have to offer. I bet even in Chopes they will find a way to run the comp in 3 to 4 foot waves, preferably in onshore conditions.

The only way to secure better waves for the competition is to have longer waiting periods. It’s no secret the WSL has yet to really be profitable for its owners so I wouldn’t expect any changes that would increase costs which extending the waiting period definitely would. It’s unfortunate that this sport is so reliant on mother nature to provide the best conditions for its athletes. Sometimes mother nature just doesn’t want to cooperate.

My first board was a cracked 5'10 tri-fin T&C back in the early 80's ....... 30 mins off the NC coast it was done. I got 2 o3 rides when it was dry ... 6-8 surf of Hatteras was a dream. Look at you guys-- so F-in blessed. Keep chasin Nate . you are on the right path

There has been a hell of a lot of judging blunders lately and it makes you wonder if they are betting on the results as Conner was paying over $3 to win. I think a appeal system for the heat to be re judged if the loosing surfer feels hard done by could work.
