Beautiful day!!! Weather was so nice, classic morning light offshore winds and crystal clear atmospheric conditions. Love these days. Yeah, my friend mike Ho still doing it! Grew up surfing country with him. D. Ho rip!! So stoked, I grew up in the 60's and was surfing Backdoor and pipe in the 70's and 80's. Was so nice before the crowds. Blessed!! Love you guys, always makes me smile seeing you guys surfing my favorite waves growing up. Watched you "kids" grow up on the beach from when you were a few years old. You make us proud!!!. No ka oi.

Used to rent a house right in front of pipe every New Years about 20 yrs ago. There was a young blonde kid absolutely running circuits at pipe. Everyone knew what JJ would become.
