You just reminded me that there's a TAS somewhere that beats smb1, 2, 3 and world with the same inputs. Watching it is so disorienting, it's basically what happens when TASbot takes up juggling. So the concept has been done before, I'd also love to see a mario 64 version, maybe you could even throw Sunshine into the mix just for laughs.

I was interested to see this, since nearly every aspect of the physics was completely changed for 64DS. And it certainly was interesting. It's a pretty cool idea. It seems like the difference in speed and acceleration between the two games presented a lot of difficulty. If you need to make small movements, N64 Mario's quick acceleration means he moves too much, but over longer distances DS Mario's higher top speed means he gets left behind.

its really cool to see how much SM64 and SM64 DS really differ especially in looks. the DS is not as powerful as the N64 yet the graphics look so much better. the textures are more refined, the models look better, etc.. probably has to do with the smaller screens but still
