Idk I liked Galaxy a lot, probably will even more on the switch without motion controls. Sunshine was good too. Galaxy2 was my least favorite. G2 does have an amazing final boss level (but lackluster final boss). I am definitely going to enjoy 3D All Stars, as well as 3D World on Switch! 3d open world/platforming is my favorite!

I just 120 this game today for the first time. I got the original on the nintendo 64 but got stuck at 119, I was missing the sub 21 second peach race star. When I finally knew about it (all of this was pre internet, for me at least because I grew up very poor), my game cartridge broke and that was the end. i never played the game again, but made a promise to myself, that i would later in my life. MArio 64 is the most important game for me because it was one the only games I got to play as a small kid, due to growing up without a console (I got my 64 as a hand-me-down form a cousing when she moved to the US). i am so happy today! Thanks nintendo for creating one of my most treasured memories and bringing it back for the switch after so many years.

I have the Wii, Wii U and switch. If you want the best Mario Galaxy experience and probably one of the cheapest ways to play SMG 2 then get a Wii U and hack it. I have 3D all stars on the switch and Mario galaxy is better on the Wii U using the Wii mote than it is on switch with the joycon.

For me, Super Mario Galaxy & the second game have always been my all-time favorite games to play ever, because when I was 5 years old in 2010-11, the games I had played at the time as my first games ever played in life was New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Mario & Sonic Olympic Winter Games and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Don’t ask why my parents bought me the second game before the first game. So since I have played all of the 3D games, except for Odyssey which I will in a few months, this is my current Top 10 favorite Mario Games: (Best) 1. Galaxy 2 2. Galaxy 3. Mario Kart Wii 4. Super Mario Sunshine 5. Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (same games, only difference is 200cc) 6. Super Mario 64 (I dislike Rainbow Ride, the camera, most of the 100 coin stars, and throwing final Bowser is not easy) 7. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Childhood & Giant Bowser is a throbbing B A N G E R) 8. Super Mario Bros. 3 (This game reminds me of the “New” series) 9. Mario Kart 7 (this game is basically a downgrade to Mario Kart Wii & 8 Deluxe) (Worst & Tie) 10. Super Mario World & New Super Mario Bros. 2 (These games are both fun) About #10: I like both games, but I never been a fan of the NES & SNES games because their games aren’t anywhere as appealing as of today. Super Mario World has great level design, which can also be said for NSMB2, but their levels are pretty short and the items are very limited. NSMB2 however has more verity than SMW when it comes to level design & items. But the bosses in both games are way too easy, and I think Giant Bowser 2 is easier than SMW Bowser because the patterns are very easy to notice. I know that most of my favorites are Wii games and not Switch games, but most of the games I have on the Switch are not Nintendo games. NSMB.U Deluxe & MK8Deluxe is what I mainly play. I also have Super Mario 3D All-Stars but I don’t count that on the list because it’s just 3 old games put into one game.

I was proud of beating this game last time because I put my left joycon in my right hand and vice versa. Suddenly I jumped/controlled Mario's movement with my right thumb and the camera with my left. It felt so wrong, like using your left leg to step down on your right foot. It was so hard just to move in a straight line that I always veered to the right. It's like relearning how to play the game. But eventually I got used to it and I am now ambidextrous with my joycons for Mario 64. I hope someone else tries it to see how crazy it is because I kid you not, it feels so frustrating at first. I want to see someone try it and see how hard it is at first.
