When the camera went to MB for his comments he couldn’t speak at first, then when he gathered himself he simply said ‘that was spectacular’ & went on to say that Sohyang had taken the role of ‘virtuoso’ in this performance. He must’ve been impressed because she has joined him on stage when he’s been touring in Asia.

She is so great, it is so much fun to hear this over and over again. Thanks for the reaction! Actually Bill Withers wrote this song and made it a hit long before Michael Bolton. Though I think Bolton's version was even more popular. So Hyang's cover is my favorite with no disrespect meant to either of those two musical giants.

If you watch closely when the song is finished she starts laughing. Angelina Jordan does this too. I just think they're tapped into something regular humans aren't privy to. Oh, if you ever get the chance to hear So's laugh do it. She has a beautiful laugh.

Michael Bolton did not write Lean On me, Bill Withers's did back in 1972, Michael did a cover that became very popular.

Michael Bolton did not write nor was he the first person to perform this song. Bill Withers wrote this song and he is the one to originally perform it. While Michael Bolton may have contributed to the longevity of this song, for those of us born before the mid 70's, it is all Bill Withers as far as this song goes.

Not "So-Hi-Ung", Sohyang only has 2 syllables. "So" 소 and Hyang 향. The H blends into the Y with no added vowel sound. Adding that vowel sound is giving you 3 syllables. Hope that helps you with your pronunciation because right now you are butchering her name. :D I'm sure she doesn't mind but you might want to improve.
