I was around 12yrs old when Numb was playing on the radio. When I first heard this song and after that In The End. I was hooked to LP and Evanescence *and various bands* for years. Im 29 now and I still listen to these songs. When Chester passed and I saw Mike start his solo career after the incident. The memories and albums I have, won't fade. We will all still sing these songs, and Nathan your cover is as breathtaking as when I first heard Chester sing.

Chester, I love and miss you so much and I could literally cry each day that you're gone. Dude, if this is your best shot, goddamn you did brilliantly! Linkin Park helped me get through my high school years, which was sadly the lowest point of my life due to heavy bullying leading me to become horribly depressed and severely socially anxious. Even now at 30 years old, I'm still dealing with the repercussions of those years. But every day, Linkin Park's music was there. I still remember the day he died; my mum coming into my room to ask me if I'd seen any news, then letting me know Chester had died and the frantic search through news sites to confirm it. It's still hard to believe he's truly gone. The world lost a legendary man that day, but we keep his memory and legacy alive with beautiful covers like this and continuing to love the music he and the band created together.

Honestly your original songs are my favorite part of your channel. You are a bright light of talent in a sometimes dark world. I am still happy to hear a cover. There are so many different perspectives a person can take on a song. We generally see it from the emotional perspective of our heart in the moments we are listening to it. I have almost always had the perspective of songs like this from an outside view. If only I could have "heard" this sooner, meaning felt it in my soul, as someone experiencing this. Like I do right now. Not sad. Not depressed. Not angry. Not frustrated. Just numb. Like nothing really matters anymore. Because it never really did matter. Dear God, I know that sounds depressing... Yowsa... But again, no longer in the depths of despair anymore. Just completely numb in a world that has lost its everloving mind.

Chester was and always be a legend. I miss him dearly. It's weird to say that- given that I never met him. But through his and the band's songs I feel like I have.
