Nathdwara is the main bench of the Pushtirmarg sect. Shrinathji Prabhu is seated in Nathdwara for nearly 300 years. Nathdwara is also famous for the unique temple and tradition of Krishna throughout the world. Haveli music here, Pichhwai art of Nathdwara, Chitra, Meenakari have their own place. Deepawali is celebrated here with pomp and unique way. The entire Krishna temples, including Nathdwara, are celebrated as a festival dedicated to Govardhan Puja to Gopashtami cows. Singing is the favorite of Shrinathji. Wherever God resides, he keeps cows with his heart. There are a total of 12 Goshals of Shrinathji but Nathuvas Goshala is the main goshala. Here the Gualbalas are ready to plow the cows from Dussehra. With Sharad Purnima, the work of grooming the cows starts. In Gaushala at Nathwas, the Gwalabs decorate them with peacock stripes, taps, thins, mehndi and colorful colors. The final preparation of cows on the day of Roop Chaudas is done at the Nathwas Goshala. From here, cows visit Shrinathji temple on the day of Diwali. The special thing is that the playing cows are called with whom Gwalabal plays. Whereas the white forest used to say those cows which are white colored cows. The Shrinath temple remembered with white color still has cows of Nandavansh, which is considered a descendant of Kamadhenu cow. This cow is special which is worshiped on the day of Govardhan Puja. A Gwalabal also told that once upon a time, these cows were fed gold and silver crates and bells which came exclusively from the Shrinathji temple. On the day of Deepawali, all cows stay in the Goshala near the Shrinathji temple and then on this day there is a ritual of ear-raising. In the ceremony of Kan Jagai, Tilakayat Maharajshree invites the cows of the Nandvansh to come early on the day of Govardhan Puja, calling them Beggi, in the ears. On the day of Govardhan Puja, cows come to the temple from the cowshed near Srinath temple. Before this, the Gwalabal Hid is singing while circling the temple. After this, the Gwalabalas take the cows to the temple while wooing and playing, here this time, Mukherjee worshiped the cows, after this the cows performed the ritual of making Govardhan. After this ritual, the cows came back to Goshala and for the last time in Govind Chok, the cowherds made the cows lukewarm by provoking them. From here, the cows re-entered their Nidha Dham Nathuvas Gaushala in the Twilight Vela.
