Am from Ghana, don't understand the language but fell in love with the music right from the first beat. I love South African language , to me if all Africans should one day speak one language ,it must be this language why because it's a truly unique and typical African language especially when expressed in pain ,anxiety etc. Its tone color has a direct link to human feeling without reading meaning into it.God bless my homeland Ghana and may God bless South Africa.A unique African country
@moxide3 жыл бұрын
I have noticed Bantu languages sound similar but different from languages spoken in West Africa. I understand this but had he been singing in a congolese language like lingala i'm sure he would sound great even though i won't be understanding a thing . By the way he is singing in XHOSA the Wakanda movie language , but because it is in a song anyone who speaks Zulu, Swati, Ndebele can understand the song 100% as if he is singing in those languages , at the end of the day i think as Africans we once spoke the same language , when it comes to the Bantu variation i get the rhymes from many of them and i can pick a bit from as far as Kenya. If the world remained unconnected as it was in the past English language would have completely changed in many parts across the globe, as it is i barely understand when Caribbeans talk.

I'm from East Africa and I had to learn the lyrics to this beautiful song so I could at least sing along😄😄

Whatever happened to this guy? Never tire of his songs. Hope he is fine and makes a come back. I am 63 now. Great singer this guy.

This deserved a better video. Fact is, I don't think there's a music video that can do this great song justice (in fact, Nathi's songs are laden with a lot of beautiful lyricism and emotion that it's impossible for me to see them in a music video) - outside of a recording of a live performance. Live performances would do his music justice by way of promoting him via TV or such media, because you'd get to see him perform before an audience as captivated and in awe as captivating and awe-inspiring as is his beautiful music.

I agree with you but I think with enough creativity a beautiful story can be told with this song as a sound track..It would take a great deal of creativity though
