I agree with Isabel about the people outside of the UK signing up for courses and not actually doing them. This appears to have happened on my son's Master's degree course. On Day 1 six foreign students failed to show up, and in fact, they never did. If it had been only one you could say that he or she had had a change of heart, but all six? Highly unlikely. It can't be proven but it seems likely that these six individuals might have faked their credentials, obtained student visas to enter the country and then disappeared. What made it worse was that applicants had to have two years of very specific experience before they were even considered, and then they had to go through a series of terviews and group exercises. Six young people from this country had worked hard in the hope of getting onto that course, and six lost out to foreigners who never showed up. Appalling.

I had lunch in a pub in Ealing the other day. The table next to ours had five adults and two children. One of the men was new to the UK by about a week and was ready to started clamming benefits put up in B&B, The people he was with were telling him how he would work with them on the building site cash in hand, and then sign on, they would all cover each other on the days they needed to go sign on. The husband and wife with the kids said they had her staying in B&B on benefits while lying saying the kid's dad was not in the UK with her and they were saying to the guy once he started getting all the benefits he could then he could his family over and get them sorted too. It is sickening and upsetting to hear blatantly saying they come here and lie and cheat our benefits system and that is how it's done while our government is telling OPS that can't have the winter fuel help after they worked their whole lives. There have to be limits and we shouldn't let anyone in who can't support themselves. That is not racist the UK can't keep paying for all these people from other countries Fix the UK first then you can help other places.

A similar situation in my suburb of Nottingham. We still have quite a nice high street, I pop in on my lunch from time to time. Over half the people are not British, seemingly wandering around as if on holiday, clearly not contributing in any conventional way. It's quite clear your average Brit is getting shafted on a number of levels from this immigration nonsense. I've also worked in a number of public sector/voluntary sector roles, and the strain put on these services by those who don't speak English etc is verging on the untenable. Big changes needed NOW or the country is finished within a decade.

The problem is Starmer and co.knew there would at some point be a revolt and they decided to come down hard on any one who defied them and protested ok a bunch of youngsters played into their hands wrecking a few police vans while wearing football jerseys and Starmer made the most of it when a feeble attempt at burning a mosque occured but in previous periods of history you would have had far worse disobedience look at the miners strike where hundreds of miners were beaten up and arrested all of them willing to be jailed for what they believed this is arguably much more important it concerns our homeland and the taking over of it aided buy our political classes I believe because we voted for Brexit.

The arrests and sentences after the riots @@raymondedwards1698 were essentially agitprop theatre to enforce good behaviour for fear of the consequences, this also applies to the policing of language, online for now, but how long that restraint will last, who knows ... what interests me is the selective use of punishment, let alone condign punishment, with some misbehaviour being tolerated and other, arguably less violent, being stamped upon.
