Nationaal Park De Biesbosch na de storm met veel hoog water door Tine de Jong

Een #Natuurwandeling die ik enkele dagen geleden heb gemaakt in de Nationaal Park De Biesbosch waar je goed kan zien wat de storm en het hoge water daarbij heeft veroorzaakt. En ook nu nog heeft dit gebied nog er last van want vele natuurgronden staan nog onder water. De schotse hooglanders en Waterbuffels met de Konikpaarden zijn naar diverse veilige plekken gebracht want in het gebied waar zij normaal zijn konden ze door het hoge water niet blijven.
Ze staan o.a in de Bandijk Werkendam en bij de Petrusplaats achter het Biesbosch museum. En ik was hier in deze omgeving al vaker geweest en nooit de kans gehad om de waterbuffels van zo dichtbij te zien en ditmaal dus wel. Het zijn de grasmaaiers voor deze omgeving want zij zorgen er ook voor dat het hier stabiel blijft en geen andere vegetatie of riet zal komen dus doen zij allen hier goed werk net als de Schotse Hooglanders en de Konikspaarden het hier doen.
We hebben gewandeld en gereden door o.a de Noordwaard, -De Noordwaardpolder en andere omgevingen hier in de biesbosch zodat je beetje een indruk krijgt van deze omgeving en wat ik zoal was tegen gekomen. Menige knobbelzwaan, gans, eend, aalscholver en mooie paddenstoel-Judasoor of ook wel genoemd echt judasoor(Auricularia auricula-judae) kwamen we hier tegen. Vele bomen hadden ook nog er last van natte wortels ondanks dat het water al is aan het zakken.
Enige weken geleden kon en mocht je op bepaalde plekken er helemaal niet in want de Noordwaardpolder in de Biesbosch bij Werkendam was volgelopen met water van de Boven-Merwede. De Noordwaardpolder is zo groot als circa zesduizend voetbalvelden en is gelegen tussen de Brabantse #Biesbosch en de Nieuwe Merwede.
Vijf jaar geleden werd het gebied ontpolderd, zodat rivierwater bij hoogwater de Noordwaard in en ook weer er uit kan stromen. Het is de bedoeling dat het gebied in noodgevallen overstroomt. Het gebied werd vijf jaar geleden ontpolderd, om als doorloopgebied te fungeren voor de rivier. Ook werden de dijken verlaagd. Als het hoogwater is op de rivier, zoals nu, kan dat via de Noordwaard, de Biesbosch, het Hollands Diep en het Haringvliet sneller naar zee stromen. Op die manier houden duizenden mensen verderop in Brabant en Gorinchem droge voeten. Maar het geeft soms ook wel mooie beelden zoals je in de video kan ontmoeten.
Nationaal Park De Biesbosch ligt op de grens van Zuid-Holland en Noord-Brabant en bestaat uit drie delen: Hollandse Biesbosch, Dordtse Biesbosch en Brabantse Biesbosch. Het is echt een bezoek waard als je van mooie natuur houdt en van vogels want die kan je hier volop spotten. Dit gebied heeft veel meer dan alleen maar de bevers, visarenden en /of de recreatie.
Bijzonder aan de #Biesbosch is dat het een van de weinige zoetwatergetijdengebieden van Europa is. Je kunt hier dus ook zowel eb als vloed meemaken. Zoals nu met de stormen en vele regenval is gebeurd met daarbij het hoge water. En toch vecht de natuur elk jaar hier weer terug om weer mooi te zijn voor jou. Hello my dear friends and visitors; Share wit you my walk in the dutch National Park De Biesbosch where you can clearly see what caused the storm and the high water. And even now this area still suffers from it because many natural areas are still under water. The Scottish Highlanders and Water Buffalo with the Konik horses have been taken to several safe places because in the area where they are normal they couldn't stay because of the high water. Despite the high tide, nature will quickly recover here as it does every year. And many nature will also be seen in this video. Many waterbirds, like the swans, ducks, geeses, are happy with all that water but many trees not. hope you enjoy watching. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, we're living in turbulent times. This was not only a beautiful slideshow but also a nice report of the scars left by the high water. The Planet is giving us many signs of what happens when Man does not contain his activities, and I have the feeling that also the new coronavirus outbreak is related to that. Yes i had get here sometime a wet pants when i photographed , but does it not mind because the nature was wetter than me. Water is sometimes needed but sometimes the land receives too much but it can also give beautiful faces even though many trees and had lots of nature was sad. They will always overcome just like we humans. As we can overcome what is happening in the world now. Because together we must now also take care of each other and we can than all also be stronger.

Hi Tine, was für ein schöner Spaziergang! Und so ein bißchen Frühling hast Du auch schon eingefangen. Über die Bilder von den Rindern habe ich mich besonders gefreut. Da könnte ich ja stundenlang zuschauen... ;-) Und die "Judasohren"... Geniale Pilze! Man kann sie auch essen - aber ich mag sie nicht auf dem Teller. Es war schön, mit Dir unterwegs gewesen zu sein. Selber komme ich kaum noch raus in die Natur. In diesen irren Zeiten mußte ich meinen Frühlings-Urlaub stornieren - viele Photos wird es nicht von mir geben. Thank you for sharing Tine. I love the cattle but especially the Water Buffalo and the duck brood baskets. Many areas in England still have large areas flooded and cannot go back to their homes for weeks. We were hoping to go to the wetland trust near Sunderland for a short break next week and I might have seen some Duck brood baskets there. The spring flowers are all starting to show their pretty faces and it is sad that we are asked to stay at home when this is the time of year we all look forward to and getting out to the countryside. Thank you my dear friend Julie, It's also true here that there are more and more laws that we have to abide by, but if I feel like going into nature I do so too, but I avoid the places where there are many people. The spring is beautiful and the weather also and i am not a person that can stay long inside at my flat. I have not a garden and just a a smal balcony. Many people go more into nature than they used to, I noticed that. Take it easy , stay healty. My heart is also there where it its worse than in my surroundings. I always burns many candles for them all. Be strong, united and positive and do all what is necessary to be safe. That is also the message i want to give to you and for all the people in the world.

The yellow flower waht you saw is the Tussilago farfara, commonly known as coltsfoot. In our country the Netherlands has it the name- klein hoefblad . Coltsfoot is used as a food plant by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Gothic and small angle shades. It is also visited by honeybees, providing pollen and nectar.

Dit gebied is zo groot-als je de beschrijving hebt gelezen- dat we hier heel weinig mensen tegen zullen komen en als ik behoefte heb gaan we hierheen of wat rond rijden en wandeling in de Alblasserwaard want heb van artsen al vernomen dat ik in een risico groep zit om het virus te ontvangen en ook mijn man en we ontwijken nu veel mensen en in de mooie natuur kan ik ook mijn hoofd wat leegmaken.
