My mom taught me how to crochet when I was about 11. I'm 43 now. I haven't been crocheting the entire time. I picked it back up about 4 months ago, and it was another way to feel closer to my mom since she had passed away in 2021. ❤

I’m the same way with getting easily distracted and forgetting what I’m doing, and a lil bit late getting back to it! 😂😂 I have ADHD and it goes hand in hand! It can drive my friends that are more focused 😂 I can be focused at times but if I’m just hanging out with friends I’m just being silly and like to just have a positive energy and attitude. I’ve been through severe depression and deal with anxiety here and there so I try not focusing on negative things or people! Life is too short for that nonsense and I’m too old for it too! I didn’t entertain these things when I was younger let alone now that I’m older! I send the negatives to go kick rocks 🪨 with their chanclas 🩴 on 🤣

Ok I think my favorite part was the end when you tried to say take care guys and you said it sounded like take care buys, I just giggled. But seriously glad to see you joined the National Crochet month challenge with us. It's been a lot of fun and focusing on one thing (not easy to do for some of us!) And I don't have the squirrel mind I have a cat one, because I see that shiny object and I am lightened focus on it and NOTHING gets me back lol. Now I have to get COMPLETELY caught up on your videos but it's ok because your laugh always makes me smile :)

Dying yarn: I got bit by the bug when I watched Crystal's yarn dying videos. I bought the yarn from Little Knits (undyed recycled linen. Do NOT recommend), and bought the dye from Dharma Trading. It is hard, it is messy, it is long and drawn out, it is FUN, it is amazing! I haven't done it again, but I definitely will! You WILL become addicted!

I think every colour has a variation that you either love or can’t stand. It’s a matter of finding the right tone for you. I find fluffy and hairy yarns a nightmare however pretty they are. As a knitter I find them a pain in the neck to rip back/undo when you’ve made a mistake.

It seems like every video that I watch of yours I learn something new about you and I am so amazed at how amazing you are. You are intelligent, talented and caring. I didn’t know that you were a pharmacist! I worked in a pharmacy as a technician for about 13 years and worked in the OTC area for 7 years before that. I have always been so impressed with how “smart” the pharmacists were. It’s a challenging profession and very high stress. Thanks for sharing.
