The Federal Reserve owns most of the treasuries. It orders the printing of money to buy US treasuries to support our gov spending. When it gets repaid, some of it just gets destroyed to limit it going back out into the money supply. Some of it gets lent out again to banks.

If you could confiscate 100% of the wealth from Musk, Bezos, Buffet, Dell, Zuckerberg, Ellison, Gates, Ballmer, Page and Brin, you couldn't fund the spending for 3 months (and you'd wreck the economy, ultimately destroying all wealth in the US). I'm sick and tired of our tax dollars going overseas they don't even help our own country we got people living on the streets the middle class can't get any help cuz they say oh you make too much I mean you have to be living on the streets and you still can't get help why should we pay more taxes Medicare and Medicaid should never come and Social Security should never be on the table for discontinuing anything we worked our butts up for that for those services or whole life
