I have to say I miss those rental lots updates on your channel 😉 I always rent from my local National location at LaGuardia, and I do see something "interesting" every now and then, so I do wonder what the selection is like at other locations as well. 🙂

Thanks for the video’s on the rentals! Do you ever see a Ford Fusion at Miami Airport? Never see them in your video’s. Going to Miami on the 17th of may and have rented a Ford Fusion or similar (full size class). I know this sounds stupid but I really hope to get a nice car, even thinking about just changing to another class. I love cars and I like driving so it would be an awesome experience to have a more ‘new’ or ‘sporty’ car but I just dont know what to expect. Alamo now says full-size is an Chevrolet Malibu, such a hideous car. First was thinking to rent a Mustang, but I dont think the trunk is big enough for our stuff (2 big suitcases). Prices also change every week so just hoping for a nice deal on a cool car lol.

There are certainly less Ford Fusions left in the fleet these days however there is one in my upcoming Orlando video for Hertz on the B-side a Ford Fusion SE. A Dodge Charger and Toyota Camry would also be in the full size category. As for the Mustang it's hard to say if two large suitcases would fit in the trunk. If you were to get a convertible however you could always put one in the backseat with the top down if it's not raining! Sometimes I used to book premium if it wasn't more as that would usually get you something like a Nissan Maxima or Chrysler 300.

Is the speciality isle considered the full size elite too? I'm renting a car with Alamo and it's a full size elite. I'm doing the skip the counter.

Great choice with full size elite. If you see something else you like on the lot there is a good chance they’ll let you take it if it’s available as that’s one of the higher categories. Otherwise full size elite would be something like a BMW Mercedes or Audi sedan.

Thanks for your great videos. I have booked a full size suv for august to september... Do you know if i can then take any full size suv for example from the aisle or executive line or just only one of the vehicles from the full size line

Thanks for the feedback and for watching. With a midsize or higher reservation if you have National Executive status you can choose any car in the Executive isle. With a full size SUV reservation yes you can take anything in the aisle. And if you do this I would suggest you ask at the booth to downgrade your reservation to the midsize rate if it's cheaper if you find what you want in the aisle. Otherwise just ask the staff there what they have available for a full size SUV and they should be able to give you a couple options based on what they have in at the time.

We are going to be flying into Miami on the 21st of July. Our pickup is going to be on a Thursday morning, around 11:30. Would you say the executive selection would be decent?

Hopefully Miami has been able to continue to expand their fleet and isn't as busy now as in the winter season. I typically find later in the week better (Thursday/Friday) or otherwise early Monday after all the cars come back Sunday night. Covid really changed things. Not as many business travellers taking cars out during the week. Lots more leisure travel right now too. Good luck! Let us know what you end up taking!

It’s possible to take at same price a Grand Cherokee, EDGE, Expedition, or similar SUV? I’m Alamo Insider from 2002, and only rent in Alamo. No other agency… Thanks a lot

Alamo is a great choice and they have great customer service at Miami. It will likely depend what is available but you can ask when you arrive what else they have and if there is any difference in the rate. On the other hand if you rather have a full size SUV your best bet is to book that directly although i suspect it might be at a higher rate.

Appreciate you mentioning this with the comment and feedback. I watched the segment you mentioned and totally agree with you and will definitely try to avoid this in the future. Lately I have been stopping the video when I run into people or panning the camera down or to the side so people aren’t in the videos. I’ll definitely be more aware of this.
