Although I never had the privilege of meeting Bishop Hutchins, he was one of my favorite COGIC preachers to listen to for many years. His passing has saddened me greatly smh. My prayers are with the Hutchins family and those that love him 🙏🏽

This was a nice and respectful service but I have noticed with other Bishop Homegoings, they seem to misuse the term "The Bier". They repeatedly say that someone of official capacity will " place such and such in the Bier" . Such item will be placed in The Bier with the deceased. You cannot place anything in the bier because The Bier is a wooden stand with wheels that a casket rest on top of, usually in a funeral home viewing room or sometimes a funeral home chapel. It is not foldable or collasable like the fold up "church truck" that this casket is resting upon. The correct term they should be using is "casket". Now if what is containing the body is made of wood and has 5 sides, like at halloween usually shown among vampire props then it is called "a coffin." That's what Queen Elizabeth's body was in. Our presidents usually have a hardwood casket because they have 4 sides.

Praying for the Hutchins Family, Church and Jurisdictional families. About last night service, somethings never should have been spoken about Bishop’s private life, It was absolutely so out of order. High titles on the GB does not give an individual that right not even a close friend. The family should have been respected. God bless this family.
