I met the little person Meinhardt Raabe who played Little Oscar in the mid-'60s at a long-gone grocery store called Beach's in Atwater City Calif. He gave my brother and me a Wienie whistle. We were coming home from my grandmother's house in Burbank when we saw the Wiener Mobile parked in front of the store. My dad turned around and that is how I met him.

This was awesome. I have been fascinated with funerals, the traditions, the rituals and the industry itself all my life. I now work part-time for the funeral home in the town where I live. At the time of Ronald Reagan’s funeral I worked for the funeral company that took care of his service. My boss and others cleared by the secret service worked on his service. And our grounds crew did his and Nancy’s burial. Such an honor.

One of the last jobs I had before I moved from Louisiana I worked with a girl who was going to school to study to be a mortician. She would tell me about some of the things that she learned, and it just really grossed me out. She said she didn't mind working on the deceased, it's the living you have to watch out for.

Hi Jordan, the Presidential section was really interesting. I didn't think they would have the hearse that Grace Kelly was in. I think the old fashioned horse drawn hearses look so beautiful and ornate. I liked seeing the Coroner from 'The Wizard of Oz' when he was older and in his costume bless him. So pleased they allowed the Jahster in. Great vlog Jordan.

I love all the history there. But when you got to the novelty caskets I thought, what a shame they don't have a replica/presentation of "Willy the Wimp & His Cadillac Coffin".😄 I've been listening to a lot of my favorite Stevie Ray Vaughan songs & that one's a hoot. It's also a true story. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't know it & especially, check out the lyrics. There are videos here on KZbin of several live versions & the studio version. You can also Google the real story behind the song. And of course, rest in peace, SRV.💙 Thanks, Jordan, for another great vlog. I just discovered your channel recently & I'm having a grand old time going through your videos!🌿

This was fascinating. I think death is something we Americans do not like to talk about or it gets brushed under the rug. I think it is a relevant as birth and all the parts in between. Have you ever watched Caitlin Doughty's Ask a Mortician channel? she is really funny and talented and she talks about the subujecst in a way to not make it so creepy. You should check her out she really is there to educate people.

I’m italian and this museum have done a good replica of Pope ‘s funeral. Very amazing museum. One of the Pope at the end is Papa Luciani, he come from Venice, and stay for only couples of months, because tragically died for stroke. But for lots of Italian people his death is an unsolved case of mistery. Probably somebody give a poison to him, papa Luciani wanted to change lots of things in Vatican. He was nominated from the devoted people : the good pope, “ IL PAPA BUONO. “
