National Museum of the U.S. Air Force 100th Anniv. (Promo 4 2023)

Since 1923 the museum has grown from a small engineering study collection to the world's largest military aviation museum and is a world-renowned center for air and space power technology and culture preservation. The museum is home to countless one-of-a-kind objects. Our once small engine collection now includes more than 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles, thousands of artifacts, and spans 20 indoor acres with additional outdoor Air and Memorial Parks that continue to grow every year.

Here's to another 100 glorious years! I'm currently restoring the Wright Brothers trail in Moraine, where they got the inspiration for their unique curved wing design. Fly high and never forget the ground.

I've been to the National Museum more than two dozen times over the years and it all started in the 1960's when my parents took me as a young kid to the museum ( I remember walking through the maze). Then in the 1970's, I rode my bicycle to the museum at its NEW location (got in trouble for that one), then in the 1980's flew over the museum while landing at WPAFB. Took my son there many times and now that I'm retired its the grandkids turn.

I'm sure my jaw dropping expression upon first seeing the KEYHOLE satellite was quite amusing to the people around me. The museum has never ceased to impress over forty years since the first of several visits.
