Congratulations on your channel. Yours is one of my favorites and the best about our national parks. You have a great narrative skill which makes it easy to listen to you. I wouldn't be surprised if the National Park Service hasn't or doesn't reach to you at some point to collaborate.

Black Hills local here, so excited for you to come visit the area! This is such a special place and I hope it inspires some great videos for you! Custer State Park is commonly regarded as one of the best state parks in the country. It might make for a good state park vs national park discussion

I also live in the Black Hills. Custer State Park is a National Treasure, far superior to many National Parks. Excited to see the upcoming Black Hills video.

I like that you do videos on lesser covered parks. Can’t wait to see your follow up on American Samoa especially!

Love the free newsletter. This channel prioritizes an engaged community and quality content rather than just clicks and viral vids, a unique thing nowadays that is super refreshing. Great stories this year and I can’t wait for the upcoming vids!

Since you ask, I would love, love, love to see the the somewhat remote National Parks, because no one ever does them. Like... never. Never seen one on the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. Isle Royale is another one (on an island in Michigan). These place take preparation because they are so isolated, but I've never heard of anyone who doesn't say it's the most incredible and unforgettable experience they've ever had. Well travelled, many foreign experiences, but these are the ones that will continue to move you forever. You've been so good at showcasing lesser known Parks, I think these too would be right up your (and your viewers) alley.

Boundary waters is quite beautiful but I'd recommend the canadian side of the same lake system, the Quetico, even more! Motorboats aren't allowed in the Quetico compared to Voyagers, but ultimately you'll need to be able to canoe/kayak/etc to really get into the parks and need the requisite planning/gear a trip like that requires

I've really enjoyed your content - it's thought-out and has introduced me to places and ideas I hadn't considered before. Definitely looking forward to your South Dakota content. The Black Hills are beautiful and the area is an interesting mix of protected lands. If you're looking for any great hikes over there, I'd highly recommend Sunday Gulch, Cathedral Spires, and Black Elk Peak in Custer State Park.

I enjoy the videos highlighting specific individuals who have/had a great impact on the development and expansion of the National Parks. Are you planning on done any more of therse types of stories in 2025?

A video I'd like to see is what the 1st unit of each designation is? IE, 1st NP, 1st National Monument, ect. Edit: Just thought of this as well: 1st site w/ a changed designation, and maybe the 1st of each combination designation (NP and Preserve as an example).
You're Wrong About the Worst National Parks.
