If you don’t know who CC is they’re a power house in the Central Valley of California. They have 4 consecutive state championships under their belt. They’re good just not at that level compared to DLS and other teams just as equal to DLS. They’re actually a D4 school playing in higher division brackets when it comes postseason. But I will respect for even taking that challenge head on.

DLS is pretty much the same......they really only lose to super teams. Put together with transfers. 10-20 D-1 players vs 2, maybe 3 D-1ers, is a difficult task. Worst DLS season in 38 years is 8-3..........so exactly where is the drop off? The only change is ESPN, and the invention of super teams.

8-3-1 is their worst record since 1979. Always a run first team. Only struggles have been with the mega-star recruit machines, loaded with d-1 talent. The L.A.schools had to shatter their transfer rules to stop De La Salle. . DLS has in turn scheduled other football transfer academies during the regular season to help prepare them for the college team they'll face in the state championship game. DLS hasn't changed much over the last 40 years.

That's De La Salle for you. They pretty much run the same shit and wear the same shit from the 80's. They run a simple veer option offense that has made them the powerhouse that they are. Nothing flashy. Uniform scheme still the basic scheme from the 80's.
