I'm really glad you had the radio there and I'm having fun watching the video here of my radio thank you James and hopefully when I have money again maybe you will still have that record player, I could probably just attach wires to a panasonic and listen to records I have been buying a few records at second hand stores and good will thrift stores in Idaho and spokane washington in the 1980's I had one panasonic rx-5100 and I would use the 12 volt adapter on one end and there would be two wires on the other end one positive and one negative I accidentally hooked them up wrong and two times I had to get the radio fixed because I wasn't paying attention to the center,,, well I'm looking at the f-model now and the center pin is the negative and the outer is positive so if the regular 5100's are the same I was hooking them up opposite and it would burst a part inside and in idaho and over by Seattle there use to be radio repair shops there isn't these radio places anymore that I never see these days if I remember correctly the repair was $8.00 or around $10.00 dollars to fix them back in 1985.

And that panasonic 5005 is a really neat model I would never have known how neat that model is except for you sending it to me as a extra radio in one of the 5100 hundreds box that I bought from you so thanks,,, I remember getting it and putting new batteries in it and a van halen cassette woman and children first which is a good sounding cassette with that radio, it sounds close to a regular 5100 and has round control knobs like you like and I do also.

James will you write the Japanese writing on top of the radio before you send it 😆🧸🦋🌈just teasing you✨🎶😆📻🔊I can't hardly believe my brother lost that one at his storage place, but at least he did have the one regular 5100 in his camper..I tried getting the woman to sell it back to me but she was uncooperative and must have wanted the radio I was a little angry and when I was younger I would have burned some rubber in her parking lot not a complete smoke show but if the drive line never broke there'd be some peeling out tire tracks 😆 lucky for her!!!😆📻🔊🎶

There was a ad in a news paper around woodinville washington in 1985 of a radio repair shop thats how I found someone to fix my 📻 I think I tried hooking up the wires as I drove & got them mixed up it was convenient that the voltage of the vehicle was about' the same as the 5100 I remember.

I'm doing good as far as batteries I have about 75 new D' batteries duracell and energizers and about 30 dollar store ones last about a day at work I like having plenty of these batteries.

Znter Google that word that's what I like to use because I can recharge them cost about $10 a battery but what I really like about them is that they output 1.5 volts opposed to the other rechargeable batteries but only put out 1.2 volts

@@carolbalgaard8540 znter only require a mini USB to charge with per battery you need to read up about it you don't need to buy a battery charger the charger is built in

I really don't see as many F--models my favorite one with short wave two of them there's no short wave stations around here though 😭😂. When i saw you had it on the video i wanted and got i never knew that they're tougher to find you said once you saw one in France......
