National Scenic Black River Harbor Suspension Bridge

President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal created the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and the CCC created this beautiful bridge. The bad times make the good times that much more rewarding. It would have hard to believe that the young men building this bridge in 1938-1939 could ever imagine that a father and daughter could smile this big as they bounced across this magnificent bridge in 2023!!
