National Sugar Beet Demo 1980

This is a cine film of the 1980 sugar beet demonstration that was held in Foxholes, North Yorkshire. It was filmed for one of the main organiser of the event John Ireland by local lad at that time David Wakely who had the local camera shop in Malton. The film features a number of local tractor dealers such as Scruton’s along with cutting edge technology in the sugarbeet Amazon link to J.D.Irelands book for anyone interested in a copy.
