Nice catches Evans! Also I caught that very same 173 with the 177 rail cars that day. I DID NOT expect 173 to have such a monster consist that day! I was quite surprised to see coal cars too. Lately 173 has been hauling a pretty big chunck of loaded coal hoppers.

I am going on a vacation with my mom and dad coming up in September. One of our stops is Charlotte, NC. Is the W Summit Ave a good place to watch trains at? Also, is there any parking around W Summit Ave?
