National Virtual Community Service 2020

The first ever National Virtual Community Service from Batley, celebrating the Great Get Together weekend, bringing together people of different faiths and beliefs through songs, poetry, conversations, and prayers. The annual ‘Great Get Together’ in memory of the murdered MP Jo Cox is taking a new form because of the coronavirus and Batley is showing how connections can still be made. The service will conclude with a special Act of Commitment featuring voices from all over the country, echoing words from Jo's maiden speech.
