National Volunteer Week 2024

There are usually 30 or 35 horses on the farm at any given time - which means it takes many hands to love and care for the herd. The MSSPA is blessed with the most enthusiastic, devoted, tireless volunteers who show up (no matter the weather!) to be sure the stalls are clean, the barn swept, buckets scrubbed, paddocks picked, and visitors welcomed. Along the way, they shower the herd with affection - all of which contributes to getting these horses back to optimum health. Last week, we took some time to honor our incredible volunteers, and offer enormous thanks for the invaluable contribution they make to helping the MSSPA horses heal.
