Can you tell me what line in Ketubot 11b and what translation you are using. Because I checked in the Artscrool and Koren Talmud Bavli as well as the Bavli posted on Halakhah (dot) com The closest thing I found to what you said was in Ketubot 11b lines 5-9 which state that if a grown man had sex with a minor girl or a minor boy had sex with a grown women, or if a girl broke her hymen by accident, they are still considered virgins in accordance to their Ketubot price. Please clarify.

Who said anything against technology and advancements? It is the progress of the world and not of certain people only. Our sages always recognized and used the advancements of the world. Soo what? The first to arrive and the majority to arrive to Eretz Yisrael were Religious Torah observant Jews. 80% that came to Israel were religious. Also it wasn't only the Jews who came to Israel but many Jews throughout the world that helped and help make Israel what it is.

You are looking at things from a very narrow mindset and learned history also from a narrow point of view. Go check who established the first modern day settlements of the land of Israel. Check who they were, what they believed etc. Many of them were Rabbis and their communities. For example check who established Rishon Litzion or Petah Tikva. Read their history see what they believed and their motivations.

If you do nor know that Rishon Lizion is a major city then you do not know Israel, NOT at all. RL is not a "settlement" it is a major city today and was back then as well. Literally meaning "first to Zion". I understand how the term refugee camps in terms of Palestinians is misnomer, it’s not a camp or tent city. It’s a residential area of people who are either refugees or descendants of refugees of 1948 war! Lebanon doesn’t help those Palestinians who live in Lebanon. While Jordan naturalized them, and Syria have right to reside and work freely. But Lebanon is hostile because militant Palestinian refugees waged war against Lebanese Christians nationalist forces and caused a bloody Civil war. The hostility still lingers!
