Differences Between PS2 and PC Versions of GTA SA. Part 2.
I used the first ever release on PS2. Newer PS2 revisions might have less differences.

Since the Playstation 4 version runs on a built-in PS2 emulator. You can also consider this video to be "GTA San Andreas PC VS PS4". However there might be some minor differences, since we don't know which PS2 game revision is stored inside.

Rockstar Games always rushed with the PC Versions. They updated the engine a bit and added some new "HQ" effects.. But it's buggy as hell. This why R* delayed the PC Version of GTA V for so long.

@@farhanrazkyzandry6041 You are wrong. You can port games to different engines. GTA San Andreas' PS2, PC, and mobile/XBox versions all run in different engines. Hollow Knight (a game from 2016) was ported to a completely different engine in advanced phases of development.

So you have to combine the sales of the Wii, PS3, Wii U, 360, 3DS, Switch, Xbone, PS4, and "others" to beat the sales of the PC, and that amount consists of all game sales combined. The PC sells more copies of games than any other individual console (on average, of course there are exceptions, i.e. exclusives).

i haven't confirmed this but when you play the 'Supply Lines...' mission for Zero on the PC version the RC Baron has more fuel than in the PS2 version. it was likely a decision rockstar made because of how notoriously frustrating that mission was for many players on the PS2 version.

It's not that hard, just don't hit the gas too much the plane will fly just fine without it.(Although it took me a few tries to figure it out.) I made it with almost half a tank of gas.

Awesome video Vadim M ;) I didn't know of most differences, it makes PS2 version a lot more cool to play!! Not bugged textures, etc. I observed it happens also in other GTAs. Maybe I'll play them on PS2 one day. I really hope there will be more things for Part 3. I love San Andreas videos, so many things yet to discover! PS. Atmosphere in your videos is great, I could watch this whole day, I wish it would be longer but I know it takes a lot of time to do this few minutes!

+Jacek K You can actually patch the PC version to bring back the PS2 effects, see his description to install the ASI Loader, SilentPatch and SkyGFX, these will bring the majority of cut features and fix rendering errors as well as other game bugs that were caused when Rockstar rush ported the game.

Looks like you're using an emulator to demonstrate the PS2 version, is that correct? There are usually more jaggies, frame rates issues and a lower resolution with the PS2 release.

+OldSchoolRS Well, you can bring back the rendering effects by using both SilentPatch for SA and SkyGFX, these two alone will bring back the colour filter, rotor alphas, etc, along with fixing most of the bugs. If you're talking about PS2 textures, then yes, there are mods for that.

On lifes a beach the dance score of 4000 or higher is only present in ps2 version 1.0 in other words the hot coffee version. Its"technically" the only console game with the AO rating that actually was sold as is. But recalled immediately after that code was discovered
