Freeland is correct that there is no Liberal-NDP coalition but rather an agreement or accord similar to that between the Ontario Liberals and NDP following the 1985 Ontario election. Trudeau's refusal to relax the carbon tax at a time when most Canadians are having to decide between putting gas in their car so they can drive to work and buying food for their children, is just another example of how out of touch and ignorant he is to Canadians. I fully support a carbon tax, but not when the cost of everything is out of control. Oil is a commodity. The price of commodities always fluctuate. Anything is possible from the current election system. Is any federal minister qualified for their job? How many federal parliament members are qualified for their jobs? Almost none.
