It may be a good idea to check the voltage at the battery, then before trying to start the generator, make sure all the high draw appliances are off. Once the generator is running, turn on your appliances one at a time.

My rv was at a dealer for 6 months for repairs they told me it was ready i showed up and nothing was fixed spent 4 hours at the dealer and fixed more in for hours than they managed to fix in 6 months and not half ass like they did

Why do people call it a "hot water heater?" If the water is already hot, why heat it? Just call it a "water heater."

My house battery, lithium went to 0% while I stayed at a hotel for a night. I could not access my touchscreen control panel to start the generator which would have started from my starter battery. When I started the vehicle the house battery drew about 150 amps and threw the dc to dc circuit breaker. After I found the tripped circuit breaker the amp draw to charge house lithium was down to an acceptable 120 amps. So to answer this title question in my case is have enough battery to at least power your touch screen. My generator with inverter / charger is limited to 80 amps. Any suggestions to deal with any future 0% house battery mistakes?

You must have had some kind of parasitic draw on your batteries. Running an absorption fridge on DC power will definitely draw a lot of power. Resistive heaters also draw a lot.
