Your bucket list…now mine! Thanks for sharing such a unique area. Is it accessible with a normal vehicle? Take care always!

Yes, the road going in is gravel and maintained well. I would not recommend going if it’s rainy or wet. The area turns into clay really quickly. It’s a fantastic place I’m glad it’s on your list now.

From someone from Farmington, it’s not pronounced “Bistee”. It’s closer to “ Bist I”

This was awesome. I'd never heard of this place and those are some incredible scenes. Looking at some of those hills with the alternating purple nad cream layers reminds me of the painted desert and petrified forest national part in AZ. One of these days I'll have to get over to NM again. Some great scenes there for sure.

I agree with you Peter, similar to the painted desert of northern AZ. It's an incredible place that needs further exploring. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Technical slip up at 5:55. Shutter propriety mode does not select the shutter for you, aperture priority selects the SS for you. BTW, I think you know that it's just a slip up from a live presentation and not a script. Nice shots, especially the eggs, great lighting and the clouds were on your side.
