I’m Cherokee and r people believe in little people. When my mom was little her uncle walk down to the creek and before he got there he heard a woman singing. He said it was the most beautiful voice he ever heard. He came to the creek and he saw the most beautiful little woman. He startled her and she told him don’t tell anyone that u saw me or someone in your family will die. He promised he wouldn’t tell but when he got home he told. A week later a cousin died.

I'm Ojibwe from lac du flambeau. I seen one twice. Once when i when was about 10 riding my bike home at night time i seen a little figure run across the road. Like the size of a 5 year old and when i rode past where it ran across it was in the tall bushes on the side of the road and he said, "Hey! Hey you come here." I didn't say anything and went fast as i could home. The voice didn't sound young at all. Then i seen one again when i was about 23. I was at my brother's babysitting. It was late. I was downstairs and i heard the screen door open and close and i yelled aye who is that!? Then i heard the screen open and close again and by the time i ran upstairs and looked out the door i could see it running thru the yard. Across the road down towards the lake. The neighbors had a light on and i could barely see but i could make out its little body about same size as when i seen when i was younger. And he ran kinda bouleggeded. Both times i seen one it was in the same area as when i seen one when i was 10 which i thought was crazy. I always knew there was something out there. You can always hear stuff in the woods at night time that maybe a little animal wouldn't sound like

I have realised the same thing in recent months. I now believe more in folklore and old wisetales wivestales, ect, than I do in my own govt, mainstream media or the education system. Mankind is All connected. We know Columbus did not first discover the new world, everyone else did before him. Egyptians, jews, blacks, asians, vikings..visited and I believe settled here long before he ever came here. I believe there were advanced civilizations long ago through catastrophic events even God's judgement set mankind and who knows who or what else along with man to have to start over from scratch civilization and technology wise. We as a society should have respected and learned from the native people they are right. Other cultures often have the same beliefs and stories but have different names or ways of saying the same thing.

Myself, my fiancée, and my niece (17) all saw the most wild, weird thing ever a few years back. We were on a road trip in Northern Ontario. While we were driving down the road I was sitting in the front passenger seat. My eye caught movement and I saw red squirrel running along a thick hedgerow. The wild part my mind could not wrap around it was I saw a small person riding it like a horse. I sat there watching it then it suddenly cut across the road in front of us and crossed it. My fiancée slammed the breaks on and at the same time the both of them yelled "Did you see that?!". I said "Oh I know what I saw but what did you two see?" Both said that they saw a little person riding a squirrel. After that I looked up local indigenous folklore of little people and spoke to a client who was a native elder. He smiled and was so excited that me a non native person experienced what his people talk of. Apparently they are called Maymaygwayshi by the Obiway up here, and due to the hedgerow being too thick it could not prevent from being seen so it had to cross the road to escape us. Still blown away by what we saw that day.

I’m in Ontario too and saw a tiny figure with human limbs that were pale and a weird human but distorted face in the grass and it had black wings and it looked at me and vanished. It looked a bit scary ngl. It was on a hill parallel to another hill on my walk home and when I retraced my steps in that same week I couldn’t find the hill and it was just a flat plane where I could’ve sworn the hill was that was parallel to the other one. So I couldn’t even find the place where I saw the creature anymore. I know it sounds so crazy.

My husband was in a Wilderness Camp in the 80s called, Anneewakee --- their teepees were by a stream and they would hear something in the middle of the night screaming, sounding like a child -- kind of laughing and it would run really fast through the creek -- splashing -- but they never made it out in time to see it. One night they stayed up waiting for it and saw it running through the creek. It was a little man carrying a stick, he was little but older, balding... and he ran very fast through the creek, laughing as he did. My husband said his shirt was tattered but his pants looked like maybe they were courderoy. Crazy.

As a child, my mom and I would visit my grandparents at their ranch in Mexico, they'd tell me stories of little people at times. Once, one tried luring a visiting neighbor's young son, apparently. His mom told him to go play but the little boy would reply " what if it comes out again"? When they asked him what, he replied "the little person". That story stuck with me the whole trip as I'd have to go to the outhouse at night, pitch black. It's funny these type of stories exist in so many different places.

I am from Mexico and yeah, tons of stories here. They call them chaneques which is a plural of Chane, the ancient god of the wilderness. Catholicism tried to change their story to unbaptized children's souls and stuff like that but nah, they're much older than that, they're part of the very spirit of the wild lands, and like nature itself, not good, nor bad, but potentially dangerous.

when I lived in the Philippines with my family, our house had house-elves which we call Duende. My sister was visited by this entity who came into her bedroom one night. She described to us what she saw as being short about 3 feet in height, with sharp long ears & had sharp-looking jugged teeth similar to shark's teeth. He came to my sister's bedroom giggling & my sister heard this sound like a sharp shrieking sound which made her ears like it was going to burst from the sharp sound coming from this little elf. When I moved to the suburbs I was young about 5/6 years old-one day I was exploring outside (we had a lot of land and woods) and behind the shack there was a ledge almost like a drop off. At the base of the drop off there was a VILLAGE. Farm with rows of vegetables, wood houses, etc like a very small village of maybe 3-4 families. Little people! They look just like us but I remember them having a different skin color maybe blueish green. I was stunned as a child. I just sat there crouched watching these little mini humans things go about there day farming collecting water whatever. I remember making eye contact with a little woman. She smiled and in her back was a baby strapped using clothes. She unclothed it and showed it to me. I said Awww. After that I don’t remember much but waking up the next day. I ran back to the same spot and they were gone. I feel so sad and tried to figure out did I dream. Anyone had a encounter like this?

They braid my horses manes all the time, hav for years, be braids my sister's friends horse too. A friend who is native here in Canada Saskatchewan. My horse came back from his place with braids, a really intricate one. I mention d about it obviously not being a tangle but hand maid. He said, oh, be the elders say that's the little people, they ride these horses at night. Then he says, but I'm a Christian now and that's probly evil. I have been a Christian for 40 years and have come to some in religious understandings. I said to him, just because we can't see them doesn't make them evil, we'll never see an octopus, without going to the bottom of the ocean, that don't make octopus evil. We as humans tend to label what we don't understand as evil. Our beliefs that we are taught tell us things are evil....as well as our intuition,6th Sense will warn us of danger, that doesn't make anything evil. If it's got potential to be dangerous, treat with caution or stay away. If we would listen to the leading of our hearts a which is our spirit man within guiding us, be we'd avoid alot of problems. Religion labels alot of things as evil. Unfortunately, they forgot the hat the true source of evil resides within each of us. With the church which brought the Bible, which is in itself a Holy book, and the instruction manual for successful living here on earth, came also unmitigated evil, which we hear about from the survivors of residential schools, and the recent unmarked graves of now well over 1000 children. What they did to the native populations was evil....pure and simple. The little people who have been around for centuries never caused such damage to the first nation's people, compared to the church which came carrying the word of God but denying the power thereof, and instead, lived like the devil they seemed to think they needed to drive out of everyone else. I don't believe we should pray to the little people, or make offerings to them. Recognizing their existence, and being respectful and polite is good. I figure, treat the neighbours with respect, be they human, little people or Sasquatch. All are subject to the name of Yeshua, and God, who created it all, for His glory.

In Apache culture they live in the woods and in the trees, they’re like little shadow people. Pigmy sized and they’re mischievous, you can get them stuck in your mirrors and will have to smudge the house and get rid of the mirror. If you’re walking in the woods at night you can hear them scuttling around, jumping tree to tree, also they throw small stones and rocks at and near you. Relatively harmless but still need to be treated with fear and respect.

The other place must remain secret because there are other artifacts there i don't want people discovering.

After hearing this story I feel compelled to share my own, i live in London and use to attend college around the outskirts. when I was 16 I went to the woods with my boyfriend on a beautiful sunny day, we began to walk through the woods, but after a while we heard what sounded like footsteps travelling through the leaves. My boyfriend told me not to look back but I did. When I looked back I saw a small person that was peering from behind the tree with his hand out like he was asking for something. Still to this day I never understood what I saw that day, but the weirdest thing about this bizarre incident was that my boyfriend at the time refused to speak about the incident again. He said everyone knew about it, but no one talks about it.

I found megalithic snake head's in the Pocono mountains in pennsylvania on the south facing slope. However on the north facing area of this mountain it was like entering a different time warp. Deer trails weren't small and winding they were wide and boulders everywhere. That's when i saw something in the corner of my eye a small wee people / fast as lightning/ quick as a turn of the eye's/ i think they can read your mind so i started praying i turned away from them scratching my head i grabbed a peak there they were for 1/8 of a second. At most they are quick. I saw a boulder slide i headed for it but before i did i left them some cereal bar's and a apple. To slow them down. No problems after that. But i never found what i was investigating .

I have recently experienced many unexplainable things. It started last year, when i captured a weird scream on camera. The scream could only be heard on the video later. It was recorded at a little garden area, that has some old trees. After i recorded that scream, a series of weird events has happened. a) Something invisible has been blocking my movements in my home. b) I captured a voice yelling my name, that could only be heard on the recording, when i was out cycling. c) I even have captured a red orb on camera, at the area where i captured that scream. d) I have even recorded i voice saying "Mommy", at the same area where i captured that scream. I have suspected that "The Little People" (or gnomes, as they are called where i live) has followed me home, and they've been doing pranks on me. They must also have learned my name, by visiting my home. At one point i said out loud, in my home, that i will not reveal the area where i recorded that scream, and where i think they live. I said that i respect them. The weird things stopped happening in my home after that. If we respect them, then i think they respect us back. These creatures can be recorded on audio recording equipment, and sometimes also on cameras. It is like recording EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena). I think these creatures lives in another dimension. Cameras and audio equipment are able to pick up these things for some reason.

I've learned that many cultures have stories like this. People in Ireland and England, obviously, but people don't know how common stories like this are in places like Germany and Iceland. In fact, they've got stories like this in Japan, too. They've even got them all the way down in Aboriginal Lands in Australia. Probably there stories from all over the world that I haven't uncovered myself yet. Stories about little people who will trick people and lure away the children. Stories about the people who live in the woods, or near the water, or in the rock. These stories are so common that it turns out there are quite a few folklorists who believe it has to be real. I guess most of them won't talk about it unless you get them very drunk. They're all European Academic types, so they're expected to be too serious and professional to believe in faeries or little folk, but it's a mask for many of them. I didn't realize until recently that so many cultures from so many places have such a specific story. That's unsettling, even in an academic sense.

Ive gained an understanding of the world that was pulled from souls that were here before. Some of them were smart some were stupid. Sometimes they came to the same conclusions. All of them have to tell their story in a way that makes sense to pass it on. They have the end in mind from the beginning but to us we are being led on. Some people dont want to be known but do want their story beginning to end. They plant pieces in our minds so that we will eventually put it together on our own. Some of them have the ability to speak directly to your mind without being around. Some can speak in front of you and remain hidden. When your story is being told to you or without you and your not hidden it's because its what they do.

The Mexican guy is Native American, he's just from Mexico and speaks Spanish. But his DNA is Indigenous American DNA just like any other tribe. Thats why we shouldn't look at each other as different just because the invaders came and drew a line in the ground and separated the land. They even drew lines right down the middle of tribal lands splitting a tribe in half, leaving it in two different nations.
@ang9968 Жыл бұрын
Who are the invaders? Certain Indian tribes lived on the side of cliffs to escape the Mexican cannibals. Read the Harris Cannibalism thesis. The Spanish conqusidor Cortez, less than 500 years ago destroyed a whole mexican city because they were eating people and had built their city out of the skulls of men, women and children. Look up the origins of pezole. Check it out if you can find it, many of these tibits are being scrubbed from the internet. The cliff dwellers were long gone before the white man ever showed up. I love how everyone bashes the white man calling the whites the invaders. When Indians have been warring with other tribes for centuries, raiding and taking captives of women and children. The mexicans raided to get human meat. Fact, if it wasn't for the white man, you wouldn't have a country to stand on. And had anyone attempted it they would be called the invaders by other invaders lol. If it wasn't for the white man no one would have all the modern day convinces that they love so much. And what are all these other races doing here if they're so concerned about the Indians?
