THIS!! This is what fishing shows are supposed to be like. Chasing PA natives is one of my favorite things in this works. The peace and serenity or just being out in it. Catching is just a bonus. Thank you

Didn’t expect to be sitting on the couch weeping on a Thursday night at a fly fishing film…but here we are! My husband is a fanatic fly fisherman, and the wilds of Central PA is our favorite shared place in the world. We live up in Boston now, but head back to Loyalsock every summer for some camping and fishing and disconnecting from everything. From the fish themselves to the sounds of a breakfast campfire, you captured the heart and soul of the place. This was a love song to home. Thank you for this video - it really was a special gift.

Homerun again A.N.!! I'm not much of a philosopher but this film made me think as to why i keep hitting these woods and water of NWPA as a tired and somewhat synical 59 year old with far less innocence. as my former youthful self...But I think the inner drive is derived from If I can feel for just a split second that youthful bliss and wonderment of when I was camping with my brothers as a kid in these very same mountains and catching for the first time a native brook trout awestruck by the colors and pure wildness of the entire scene...it is well worth the trip... Peace my friends, keep these films coming brother...

What a beautiful film! It just brings me back to my childhood when me and my family would go camping here in Texas. Me and dad would go off to fish and return with some channel cat. I really hope that you all use the Kodak 16mm again; it really caught the beauty of Potter County! And the friendship, I think that's the most beautiful part of the film...thank you gentlemen!

I have been following you guys for a little while now. You produce some of the best content for fly fishing. My sister recently moved to Montana (I totally understand why) and had the blessing of visiting her and her boyfriend. We floated the Bitterroot and it was amazing. That being said, I totally get the draw to get back home and share another experience with your buddies. I just thank you for sharing these journeys with us. As others have said, you deserve a big contract for the level content you produce. I will watch everything you produce; and perhaps someday I will be blessed with the opportunity to share water with you guys.

Thank you for presenting a heartwarming video of your friendship and fishing. The sights and sounds of spring in Potter County, Gods Country. My husband and I fished there yearly during the early 2000’s right after we got married. This video brought back great memories for both of us. Thank you for that. I’m glad you were fortunate to be able to make time to get together again to fish and recall the fond memories of your childhood. Hopefully, and with the Lord’s blessings, all of you will enjoy many more years fishing together. It is a gift.

Brings back memories Born in Altoona, we lived in Cresson where my dad was head football coach, in 1960 he took the head coaching job in Punxsutawney, when I was in my early teens I would go to Potter County regularly with friends and fish for trout, one day fishing beaver ponds right beside the Benazet (my have spelling wrong) ball field I hooked what I thought was the worlds largest brookie truned out to be a 26" chain pickerel , great memories of fishing for Trout, Smallies, Pickerel and seeing wild Elk in the 60's, by the way my dad went on to be among the First 5 Coaches inducted into the Pa. High School football coaches hall of fame.

Big thank you for this video. I've been waiting since spring for a post from Allegheny Native. Being a native of the Allegheny National Forest, I look forward to your videos and from other PA trout fishing channels. I wish our creeks still had the aquatic bug life that the limestone drainages have. The bugs have declined over the last 30 years. When the bugs go, everything that feeds on them go too. Fewer crayfish, minnows, salamanders, etc. I like your fly selections, but it's a shame more fly tiers and channels don't tie tiny crayfish flies. IMO, baby crayfish are a major food choice for trout and other fish. I once caught a stocker in West-by-god that had 7 crayfish in it's stomach, three of them still alive. This was the day after a heavy rain.
